August 8, 201113 yr I'm sure there will be a Take That album end of next year follwod by a huge tour in 2013. WITH Robbie! What do others think? As long as its a whole lot better than Progress / Progressed (which I admit there are one or two good songs on - but overall there's some sh/te on it) I'll be fairly intrigued. I suppose I'm just not as big a fan of Take That anymore (Gary Barlow just turns me absolutely stone cold now - and before anyone says anything - he was starting to do so long before he saw how far he could clean David Cameron's arse out with his tongue). I do think they're five fairly old men trying to 'get hip' with the young ones - to me they're not being true to themselves and the whole thing seems 'staged'. There isn't anything impulsive with them (which I had hoped Rob would bring to the table). I suppose what it comes down to is that no matter how hard they try - they ARE a manufactured product whether there are four of them or five. Kath Edited August 8, 201113 yr by Kathyp
August 9, 201113 yr there will definately be another take that album. the only question is whether take that will release one again as a 4-piece and then have one as a 5 piece for their 25th year followed by a tour. as much as i hope i am wrong i believe that the next album take that release as a 5 piece will be their final album.
August 9, 201113 yr I think we will definitly get a new take that 4 piece album and a 5 piece album, after that its hard to know but id love them to continue once they can keep coming up with the goods, i dont see the point of them splitting again, maybe they could slow down and leave bigger gaps in the albums but i would think especially howard and jason will want tak ethat going as long as possible more so than gary and mark. Still, i just hope we get at least 2 more studio albums and the enivitable live album and greatest hits.

August 12, 201113 yr I'm kind of bored with the whole TT reunion thing now. I just want a new solo album. ASAP. <_<
August 12, 201113 yr Looks like the TT juggernaut is rolling on.... From http://www.gigwise.com/news/65829/Howard-D...ke-Thats-Future Howard Donald Speaks About Take That's Future Denies band will split after tour... August 12, 2011 by Holly Frith Take That's Howard Donald has spoke out about the band's future and plans to continue touring. Robbie Williams revealed recently that he had written his next solo album with Take That bandmate Gary Barlow and said he is keen to get back to his solo career. Speaking about Take That's future, Donald told The Sun: We're at the highest possible point we can be tour-wise and album-wise. We've done much better than I expected. It would be complete sacrilege if we said, 'Let's call it a day, let's stop'." He added that the band would have to always top previous shows: ''We could stand on a massive stage and put amazing lights and lasers on and not have any of these tricks and hydraulics and the big men and elephants. We could have all that and we could do a great show. But would they ever come and see us again because we are not of a standard that we were in our last show?'' "We want people to go home and go to sleep with a smile on their face, be blown away by it and hope a Take That ticket goes on sale again in a couple of years.
August 12, 201113 yr I think I've just outgrown them! I think I preferred it when they were the underdogs ... now that they are 'all-conquering' I seem to have lost interest. No - it appears my only lasting loves, music wise, will be ELO and Level 42! It appears Take That were only a passing fancy for me! A bloody expensive yet highly enjoyable passing fancy mind, but a passing fancy nevertheless! Kath
August 13, 201113 yr Well you enjoyed it for what it was, i suppose for me i was never fascinated by them where i just enjoyed the music, it was only ever about the music for me and as i have always said once they make music that tickles my boat il be happy and if that continues i want them to stay together forever.
August 13, 201113 yr I'm really bored with the TT reunion stuff too, time to call it quits and for Robbie to go back to what he does best, solo!
August 13, 201113 yr I'm really bored with the TT reunion stuff too, time to call it quits and for Robbie to go back to what he does best, solo! It is boring though I have to agree. As much as I liked Rob's solo set in the show - I really don't think he made much difference to TT when they were together (I'm talking about TT as a 5 now - it would be foolish to not acknowledge that he didn't play a part the first time around). In all honesty - Progress (as a show) wasn't a patch on either The Circus or Beautiful World tours and I'm sure Rob fans would agree that the Progress tour wasn't a patch on Rob's solo tours. Surely, in their heart of hearts - all five of them know this - which makes me even more certain (although I was 110% certain beforehand) that the whole thing is ... and continues to be about money. The music is certainly not paramount anymore to either side. I mean - lets face it - if Progress had have been released by ANY other group of people - it would probably have been lucky to make sales of 500K. I'm equally sure that it would have been panned by critics rather than praised to high heavens - but then again - The Emperor's New Clothes is a fantastically funny story. August 14, 201113 yr  all change again, according to this news item if true, I doubt very much there will be another TT tour as a 5 :P from: http://www.mediastory.net/2011/08/robbie-w...w-at-war-again/ Robbie Williams And Gary Barlow At War Again! Something’s rotten within Take That! And we are not talking about their attempt to come back successfully. With the comeback tour, Progress Live Tour, which precedes the release of a new album and which was a big success, the war between Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams seems to have started again. So, it is rumored that Robbie and Gary hardly said a word to each other and they avoided each other over the course of the tour which ended on July 29, in Munchen. And their differences also affected their teammates, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange, who are now searching for their long lost fame. “The atmosphere was very tense on tour. Mark tried to calm things down, but Robbie and Gary barely communicated on stage” a source said. Mark is also the one who convinced Gary to accept Robbie Williams in their tour, making assurances that Robbie will be on his best behavior. However Barlow was unable to accept – like he was unable to do so in 1996 – the ego of the most popular Take That member, Robbie Williams. “Gary can’t stand the fact that the tour transformed into a “Robbie Williams Show”. Robbie also had solo moments and the crowd went wild. But Gary thinks Robbie went to far by using a vulgar language during concerts. He warned Robbie to behave. Take That is a family brand and the boys have an image to defend” the source also said. But, it seems that the conflict escalated when Robbie suggested that he plans a solo tour next summer, the first one after a six years break. “Gary couldn’t beleive that Rob already talks about his solo tour when the Take That tour hasn’t finished yet. He thinks it’s insulting that Robbie is planning to dump us again” the source said. ” I know Rob joined us now, but our future is in four. For us, Take That has four members” Gary said at the beginning of this year. And it seems that Robbie spoke the truth when he said: ” My problem were always about Gary!” Unfortunately, Take That risks to become just a beautiful page of history, if the guys do not find ways to work together in harmony.
