UGH, this just screams generic already - "Don't go breaking my heart" how unoriginal. The chorus sounds rather flat, we will have to wait for the full version to really judge.

This girl never delivers. I have no idea why I'm surprised that the snippet is so dull.
The entire 30 second clip is the chorus, the verse comes before the clip starts
Awww, was that SP's little consolation snippet of info when he realised how terrible you felt? :)

Hardly true. "Release me" was a classic and got to no3 in the charts in case you are forgetting.

So I'm glad that isn't a cover of Elton & Kiki like I originally thought.

We will NEVER forget those glorious three days where the impossible became possible;

 (I genuinely love everything in that top ten too, even Soulja Boy!)

Also, the clip of DGBMH genuinely sounds like a bridge followed by a chorus to me as opposed to just a chorus.

One great song out of a career as lengthy (for a reality star) as her's is not much to boast about is it? That album was fuller of 'almost' songs. It could almost have been great but everything was slightly underwritten, underproduced and all just a bit BASIC. This songs like more of the same.

Dance Love Pop is a brilliant album, personally I prefer On & On to Release Me but both are near perfect pop songs. I think the UK mixed of I Need You Now is better than the album version too, even if it was a clear attempt at turning it into a weak Release Me copy it's a definite improvement.

Then there's album JOYS such as the amazing Love Me Senseless and of course Love Love Love from the re-release *.*

In fact I'm going to rate it Right Here, Right Now (Feat. Velvet)

10 Release Me

11 On & On

10 Love Me Senseless

08 How Do You Know

07 I Need You Now (album version, 9 for the single version)

08 Look At Me Now

07 Don't Pull Your Love Out

09 Open Up Your Eyes

07 Sometimes I Forget

07 Big Blue Wall

09 Love Love Love

07 You Rain

Because I have to jump on every bandwagon...

11 Release Me

10 On & On

10 Love Me Senseless

08.5 How Do You Know

07.5 I Need You Now (the single version is a 9, the album version is meh in comparison!)

07 Look At Me Now

08 Don't Pull Your Love Out

07 Open Up Your Eyes

07.5 Sometimes I Forget

09 Big Blue Wall

09.5 Love Love Love

07 You Rain

09.5 Secret Love

It is a very good album! Strangely, my first ever post was berating how crap this album was and how 'i nd u now and release me r da only gd songs on it' so lord knows what I was smoking :drama: I do remember initially disliking it though, it took a while to get into for me.

It leaked?! :o THERE IS A GOD. Will have to check it out tonight. Or maybe at lunch.

Dance Love Pop rate btw:

10 Release Me

9.5 On & On

09 Love Me Senseless

08 How Do You Know

08 I Need You Now (9 or even 9.5 for the single version)

06 Look At Me Now

09 Don't Pull Your Love Out

07 Open Up Your Eyes

04 Sometimes I Forget (the only clunker on the album IMHO, why it was a single in France I will NEVER KNOW)

08 Big Blue Wall (8.5 for the UK album mix)

11 Love Love Love (Uh-huh, I went there)

07 You Rain

09.5 Secret Love (should have been the third UK single)

That's much better than I had expected from the clip. The chorus sounds a lot better with the whole song. Opinion turnaround ahoy!

This is now pretty much my second favourite Agnes song, although it was only two before with Release Me and I Need You Now. All three are great.

I was in the middle of doing something but it's all been shoved aside for four minutes to listen to this! Anyway, it's brilliant as I expected from the live version - will slot in nicely behind Release Me and Love Love Love as my third favourite single of hers to date, may make it up to second but we'll see...

11.0 Release Me - Absolute perfection, my 6th favourite song of all time

08.5 On & On - Never quite got this as much as some people but it's good nonetheless

09.0 Love Me Senseless

08.5 How Do You Know

09.0 I Need You Now - 9.5 for the single version, even if it was a poor choice I still loved it and slightly more than the album version

08.0 Look At Me Now - Similar to Love Love Love in a way but not as good

09.0 Don't Pull Your Love Out

08.0 Open Up Your Eyes

07.5 Sometimes I Forget

08.0 Big Blue Wall - 8.5 for the UK mix, I agree with Tom, it was a definite improvement - loved that it appeared in the UK midweeks accidentally once!

10.0 Love Love Love - The UK touch up was pointless, the original was already amazing - the final 15 seconds are schlager magnificence, wish it had been the 2nd UK single (in its original form)...

09.0 You Rain - I actually loved this, the gospel choir made it sound like it should be an X Factor winner's song but it all added to the cheesy brilliance!

09.5 Secret Love - My third favourite Agnes song before today - the verses, production and in particular the bridge (and accompanying soundbed) rival Release Me but the chorus was a slight let down in comparison I suppose. Still brilliant though.

Love the album and all 56 versions of it so much! So much so that I named my blog after it!

On second listen, my only criticism would be that slightly jarring intro, perhaps it will sound far better in HQ though...

I'd have had a string introduction but I can see why they avoided that, to stop it sounding like a Release Me clone.

I dislike the intro and I think the chorus is pretty limp really, but the verses in particular are very good. I'll give it a B-.
The production is great too imo, the sudden burst back into the long chorus/bridge + chorus (whatever it is) after the middle 8 is incredibly punchy and bold.
This song is stronger than I expected, not bad, not bad! It might grow on me to become "good".
