Posted August 8, 201113 yr 2UhnGvcKMIQ Not bad, but it's really not anywhere near Finish Line or On My Own, I'm a bit disappointed :(
August 8, 201113 yr At first I thought she was covering a Glee song  It started off very promising, with a good beat and intresting reggae influences, but as soon as she started singing it went downhill. Her vocals sound very weak on this, and she almost sounds out of tune in several bits. There is a melody there, but its not an extremely strong one, and just seems to fall short of the potential you can tell this record had, with such a good instrumental.
August 9, 201113 yr This is alright but not a patch on her previous two. Hopefully with a good video it can go top 20. I'm looking forward to hearing the album!
August 9, 201113 yr Author At first I thought she was covering a Glee song  It started off very promising, with a good beat and intresting reggae influences, but as soon as she started singing it went downhill. There is a melody there, but its not an extremely strong one, and just seems to fall short of the potential you can tell this record had, with such a good instrumental. This was pretty much what I thought upon hearing it, when the intro started I was like 'woah, this is really good' then the vocals came in and after a minute or two I was like 'oh...'. It's incredibly underwhelming, tolerable but nothing amazing. I agree with Jack too, that Emeli Sande is doing it much better!
August 9, 201113 yr 'Finish Line' was brilliant, 'On My Own' was very good but this is really bad. It sounds like a bad Katy B track (and that's baaaad).
August 13, 201113 yr After many listens, yeah, I agree with Liam it's not anywhere near 'Finish Line'. Sounds more of an album track than a future single material to me too. I love the overall feel of the track though, musically and vocally (not lyrically)! Edited August 13, 201113 yr by FM11
September 22, 201113 yr Single version featuring Miss Dynamite: _pwNPkJPnzQ Still think this song is rather shit unfortunetly, her vocals are ridiculously weak. Edited September 22, 201113 yr by Davidson
September 22, 201113 yr Heard the version with Ms Dynamite before. I was not very fussed with it I must admit. Though I actually like it better than last time now.
November 13, 201113 yr Looks like the video is actually up (not long ago). Didn't know until now. USzW_yf9HNY She looks lovely TBH. I'm not sure of chart success for this yet. It's released in January next year (almost a year since 'On My Own' was released, damn). Hoping she gets to release her album some time too. Edited November 13, 201113 yr by FM11
November 13, 201113 yr Oh come on, Yasmin! Hurry up! Heard this at a party last night, sounded rather good. It was probably the version with Ms Dynamite (sounded a bit like some sort of remix though) I really want to hear an album. It could be amazing.
November 22, 201113 yr here's a pretty sweet remix. i prefer it to the origional to be honest. agree vocals could have been stronger, seems yasmin is under-staged by Ms Dynamite's verse. But its still a good track, still a progression. The piano on this remix at 1:19 makes it amazing. well worth checking out.
December 13, 201113 yr she looks so gorgeous in this filmclip!! loving the "ghetto love" theme of the filmclip too, really fits the track well.
January 17, 201213 yr i think it comes together well deffinately. good production and deffinately a new sound from yasmin
