Posted August 11, 201113 yr BHqAllSQ_eM Not sure if this is the right forum to put this in, seems right anyway. It is quite amazing. I'm not very familiar with Babs' catologue, there's way too much for me to ever consider listening to it all, but this and it's parent album are glorious. That is all.
August 18, 201113 yr I could call it dreadful but it's nowhere near good enough for that description. I hope I never hear it again.
August 19, 201113 yr She is a BEACON OF HIDEOUSNESS but the song is quite something wonderful. Liz McAtomic Kitten's cover literally made her the ANTI-CHRIST. STATEMENTS ABOLD POWER OF A SONG
August 22, 201113 yr What is so dreadful about it? The beginning, the middle and the end. The vocals.
August 22, 201113 yr Author The beginning, the middle and the end. The vocals. Her vocals are amazing, fair enough if the song itself doesn't do it for you but I've never heard anyone criticise her vocals on it before.
August 22, 201113 yr I absolutely fukkin hate this song. Sends shivers of revulsion down my spine every time I hear it. UUURGGHHH.
August 23, 201113 yr The beginning, the middle and the end. The vocals. Everybody's entitled to an opinion and I think the same about every Radiohead song! We can't all like the same music.
August 23, 201113 yr Everybody's entitled to an opinion and I think the same about every Radiohead song! We can't all like the same music. "When I am king, you will be first against the wall With your opinion which is of no consequence at all"
August 23, 201113 yr Everybody's entitled to an opinion and I think the same about every Radiohead song! We can't all like the same music. Everyone is indeed entitled to their own opinion. That doesn't alter the fact that I'm right :D
September 3, 201113 yr It could have been a very good record but her singing is drowned in typical Bee Gees over production
September 24, 201113 yr I could call it dreadful but it's nowhere near good enough for that description. I hope I never hear it again. I totally agree... This song was an absolute f/ucking bane of my childhood.... My parents totally LOVED "big nose Babs" for some peculiar reason that I never understood.... :puke2:
April 18, 201312 yr Wonderful masterpiece, maybe the most emotional song ever. "Woman In Love" and "Promises" were the highlights of her music career. Cover version from Russian music pop TV show : t3EuMx58zvc Her voice is not so strong, but it's very nice cover.
April 18, 201312 yr I read that tickets for her upcoming 02 shows are priced around £400 for a seat with a reasonably good view. No artist is worth that but she commands high fees hence the ticket prices being so high. Completely sold out though and they added another date!
