Unbelievable Jeff. Hate Chelsea, but fair play. Incredible match.

Still think Real will trounce them in the final, but so glad to see those arrogant cunts go out as well. Messi crying is possibly one of the most beautiful sights.

Messi was diabolical tonight. I don't think I've ever seen him play so badly. Barcelona were clueless, no idea at all with the ball.

Chelsea were disciplined, and got a lot of luck. Who are they missing? Terry, Meireles, Ramirez all out. Think Ivanovic is aswell?

Yes, they will be the first team to have four players suspended for a CL final.

I'm no Chelsea fan but they showed that Barca can be contained by a disciplined team, even when down to ten men for half the match.

I dislike Chelsea but I certainly hate more. I don't mind Chelsea being in the final if John Terry has to miss out!

With Cahill and Luiz injured they could end up with a back four containing Bosingwa, Ferreira, Essien and Cole!

Real Madrid have 4/5 players on yellow cards aswell, so sods law a couple of those will get yellows.

Barcelona were shocking. Chelsea were disciplined, but every time Barca tried to play it through the centre. Looks brilliant when it comes off but Chelsea knew exactly what they wanted to do and didn't let them. They needed to be more direct, that's how you get at Chelsea. They didn't change their philospohy though and had no width, so it ended up costing them massively. Hopefully they'll get spanked in the final, but so far everything has gone for them, so perhaps it's their turn.

Chelsea have to hope that Cahill is back for the final or they're faced with playing Mikel at centre back again alongside Luiz. Hell, I'd rather Drogba played there than Ferreira. Would Di Matteo risk putting Romeu in there? Having Ramires and Meireles out is problematic but a midfield consisting of Mata, Lampard and Essien is pretty strong, with presumably Kalou and Sturridge out wide? Sounds far too weak to beat Real or Bayern but after tonight NOTHING is impossible.

Has Romeu even played under di Matteo? I don't know, they're going to be very stretched in the final. I still don't fancy them to win, at all. Barcelona were terrible, but Chelsea parked the bus very well. Perhaps it's one last day out for the Old Guard of Chelsea. I don't believe they've re-discovered themselves, I just purely believe that di Matteo is playing them to their strengths and not their weaknesses. How ironic would it be for all the cash that Roman has spent, di Matteo wins them the Champions League.

I don't think my stomach could take a Real vs Chelsea final. Please, please win tonight Bayern.

Romeu played against Arsenal and was like a third centre back a lot of the time.

Both teams going for it. Both defences look likely to concede. Bayern should be winning this, not losing it, bit of a concern. Beats watching attack vs defence anyway!
Champions League results are surprising this week, thought we were set for a Barcelona vs Real Madrid final. If I was a betting man, that is what my inclination would have been before the two games.

Barcelona were awful on Tuesday. Pass pass pass with no end product. Chelsea deserved to go through, but was the match really that great ? I've seen people say it was better than Istanbul. Seriously ?

Yesterday, however was a lot better (well the first half was). Guaranteed Mourinho would have been complaining about the Garcia "ghost goal" and how he's unlucky losing in penalty shoot outs again as he always does

Glad Bayern won. They should have had a 2nd penalty in the first half too if Real got one ofor that handball so should they from Robben's free kick. And watching Ronaldo miss a penalty is always good for a laugh

So Pep's gone, and his assistant will take over at Barcelona at the end of the season.

Hope he stays well away from Chelsea, otherwise he'll end the same way as AvB.

The only Premiership club that would really suit him is Arsenal. Play a passing game, bring young players through well and a team he could build on. Wenger going the opposite direction wouldn't be a bad fit either

I think every club suits him apart from Chelsea. Roman will do all he can to try and get him, but Roman's problem is patience. AvB was not a bad manager, but the type of football he was trying to play did not suit the players Chelsea had. di Matteo plays to Chelsea's strengths. Guardiola has a completely different philosophy and it could take 2/3 years for it to happen with both the youth team and the first team.

Well credit where credit is due, well done Chelsea. By far the second best team, and how Bayern Munich did not win that I'll never know. But all that matters is Chelsea's name is on the trophy.

One thing I will say is I have seen some trophy presentations in my time, but that was by far the worst LOL. Absolutely dreadful. Boswinga and Kalou, what absolute muppets.

Unreal night of football, commentators summed it up after Drogba's equaliser when they said Chelsea refuse to let go of the Champions League. Fantastic defensive performance even if Gomez should have put the game well beyond them.
Bayern never looked like they were going to win that game, they had chances but none of them were that great really, Ashley Cole was superb. Can't say I wanted Chelsea to win but in the end I was quite glad they did, pleased for Bertrand and there's something very satisfying about seeing Germans lose on penalties, some of the Chelsea ones were superb, Luiz and Cole took perfect penalties. I'd say Cole is probably the best English player to have in a shootout.

I'd hate to be a Tottenham fan next year. Adebayor gone. Likelihood of keeping Bale and Modric just dropped massively...
