Still waiting for the single mix to be released officially. I have an mp3 rip from the video but it has the intro, the gap after the first chorus with the clocks and a few of the extra sound effects added. It's tiding me over until I can buy it though which hopefully won't be much longer.

The single mix should be released on 15th May, if that is still the song's official release.

What don't you like about it?

 

I listened to the album version today for the first time in ages and I don't see how anyone could prefer it. Her whole vocal is pitched too high so she constantly sounds sharp. The background vocals in the chorus don't compliment the main vocal at all. The instrumentation sounds a lot cheaper and there are far too many adlibs towards the end.

I said on one of the previous pages that it makes her vocals sound all over the place. It's a personal song for me and what i love about it is that she sings it like she means it. The single mix doesn't show that at all.

The single mix is a re-recording of her actual voice and less "auto tuned" and sounds more real, though. :lol:

The single mix has been pushed back to 29th May for some reason. No doubt the album version will have fallen by then so it probably won't get a new peak. Here's the page on Amazon.

'Abracadabra' definately has to be a single at some point.

FINALLY. Jessie knows how make the best of her era though. If WYA was the third single and NP the 4th, I am not sure if NP would have got anywhere near the top 10. It would have probably done a 'Gravity' or something. WYA will be far bigger as the 4th single than it would have been. Hope she can get another top 10 under her belt with it, its amazing.

That doesn't sound like it is the confirmed next single to me, it just sounds like she wants it as one at some point. I do hope it is though. :)

Im glad it will be a single as its a great song....but it shud def not come in the summer. Abracadabra needs a summer release...Who You Are can have an autumn/winter release. Works much better that way :)

I like Who You Are, but I think she'd be better off releasing something like Stand Up or Abracadabra

I'm thinking that's what she may do. Release another single in the Summer and then Who You Are in time for X Factor

I don't see why they decided to push back the single mix release. If it was released last week, it would be getting a new peak today. Sadly, the song will probably fall down slightly in the chart, then the single mix will help it climb back up a bit.
