Its probably due to me looking forward to RFYL for ages and looning too hard over it :lol:

I was looking forward to it, but the first time I heard it I was really disappointed, and didn't really bother going back. I haven't heard it much on the radio and I don't watch the music channels. That said I'd really like it to go to #1 over Rihanna (after Maroon 5 have had their week).

Radio 2 seem to be bumming it, I hear it all the time on there.

Just been watching them, he sure is a talented boy. I love the sound of the album tracks, Starlight is one of my favourites along with Letters. Looking forward to receiving the album.

LOVING the ladies singing along loudly to Run For Your Life on one of the videos :lol: It's grown on me, I was massively underwhelmed at first and still think there are much better songs on the album but it's definitely grown on me and I'm looking forward to seeing his X Factor performance.

 

The 'Uninvited' cover is an unexpected treat too. Wow! His vocals! Sublime.

Yes! though it's incorrectly labelled as being a cover of a Freemasons song on some videos :lol: (which it is but you know it's an Alanis song first and foremost!)

 

There's a few videos of it, this one has quite a lot of shouty fans on but its good quality.

I have died and gone to loon heaven. Matt Cardle doing an Alanis Morissette song :drama:

 

The Freemason remix of this song is good, but the cover with that female singer sucked. Alanis rocks that song.

Its not a bad version, he did get a bit too shouty near the end when the pace picked up.

I think it might be a big ask just to shift Rihanna on Itunes let alone the charts! I don't think he'll get there before the X factor performance anyway.

 

I thought that re the Univited performance, loved the beginning but he does tend to get a little too shouty at times I think. Hope he nails the X factor performance.

I say the single will get top 5 but no higher really :( He does have physicals, but these days unless you are Kylie or a charity group, they mean nothing.

Hopefully the album will still perform well but if Run For Your Life does fail to top the charts you can already hear the stampede of people ready to scream FLOP!!!!!!!!! Most people seem to have already buried his career. I really like the sound of the album, so really hope it does reasonably well for him.

He has around 3 different versions of the album :lol: Standard, Deluxe with Acoustic tracks and a version on Amazon with some x-factor performances.

I think the album will sell well. It sounds amazing, can't wait for it to drop through my letter box :D

I don't know if the Amazon release with X Factor tracks has been pulled, I was looking at the site the other day and it wasn't available for order anymore, it just said "sign up to be notified when this is available". But maybe it's limited edition and they've all been ordered already.

Oh? :o Well, I have the deluxe version pre-ordered from play, I'd rather have the acoustic tracks, since I have all his X-factor songs.

cee lo will be performing on x factor alongside matt this week so as long as everything goes to plan matt will be number 1...or maybe not looks like rihanna will be there this week and next week

Starlight is going to be the 2nd single :wub: It's so much more amazing than Run For Your Life! I got my copy of the CD today and I think the 2 bonus tracks are better than the single :o
