Shake It Off is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I thought WTWGM was a strong comeback but SIO has just blow me away. Proper incredible stuff, seriously. Definitely a hit, I can see it.

Shake It Out is amazing. Should easily be her first non-cover top 10. It's so anthemic. I do think I prefer What the Water Gave Me but both are amazing.

It's Shake It Out not "Off" - don't get the two confused. "Out" is an amazing pop record, the other, "Shake It Off" is a dull as dishwater mid-tempo pants Mariah Carey single.

It is reminiscent, agreed. Ceremonials is set to be one helluva stonking album... And the cover art is just beautiful!

I really like 'Shake It Out' on first listen, it was much more instant than 'What the Water Gave Me' for me. Does anyone else think it sounds slightly like 'I Want to Know What Love Is' is the pre-chorus? :lol: Hopefully the album's up to this standard though; I found 'Lungs' very hit-and-miss.

Shake It Out has just clicked with me...the melody of the verses is so good...it makes a little bit teary-eyed for some reason. And then the chorus is great simple but suitably epic. This has restored my faith after Water, which was a big let down IMO.
