Well I don't feel as if NLNL was meant to be racist but I can understand how it could be perceived as such. Everyone "good" is white, the evil one if black. It could definitely be seen as racist but I highly doubt Florence specifically made it that way. I don't agree that racism shouldn't be discussed full stop but I think I get your point. People can be oversensitive.

I dont even know what this says because mt shoe life is a blur right now but I will read it in the bemoaning because I've forgteen what I've said

Oh god.

I can't explain myself on this matter HAHAHA I didn't even realised I logged on last night. Sorry guys!

Great voice
Maybe my favourite video from this album so far! Shame it's for my least favourite single. This is probably one of only two songs I didn't give 5*'s to on my iPod. it is growing on me now though.

In my original ranking of this album, this was my least favourite along with 'only if for a night'. NLMG is now my favourite off the album and is number one on my YTD chart by almost double the plays to #2. Only if for a night is also in my top 5 off the album. Its just a beautiful, beautiful song.

The Clams Casino remix of NLMG is amazing.

Also, a Florence song used for realz in a trailer:

I'll be seeing Florence + the Machine on November 24 :D It'll be my first concert in quite a while.

In the Heineken Music Hall? I'm seeing her next week, on April 1st in Paradiso! Can't bloody wait!

Florence is singing the soundtrack to 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. She's written a brand new song for it called 'Breath of Life'

Not a lot to judge of but it doesn't sound amazing so far.

A lot better than those of "What the Water Gave Me" and "No Light, No Light" - the song's growing on me too, I'd now rank it just below the latter song (and obviously miles ahead of the former).

The Vinyl Factory are releasing another of their gorgeous limited 12"s for this release...... white vinyl, seriously limited.

I have to say, I'm not keen on the single mix of NLMG... the album verson packs far more of a punch, the single version sounds a bit... demo-ish?

Whats the difference between the two? I can't say I've noticed.

What The Water Gave Me is still the only song on the album that I really really like! :o
