October 17, 201113 yr Author I went to see this today and thought it was brilliant, personally. Hugh is an extremely talented actor and I am predicting very big things for Dakota Goyo. Loved how the ending was sort of predictable, but the outcome wasn't quite so obvious. I was expecting them to predictably win it hands down!
October 20, 201113 yr Yeah this movie was awesome.I'm watched this movie.Really a great movie. In this movie a boxing drama set in the near-future where 2,000-pound robots that look like humans do battle.Great combination of Action,Drama & Sci-Fi genre. When I watch married with children online then i know about this movie & watch it's trailer & finally movie.
October 25, 201113 yr I also really enjoyed this, and Dakota Goyo will be a big star - mark my words. Impressive acting for a kid that young.
November 9, 201113 yr Awesome movie..Hugh Jackman has very well played the role in this movie....When i watch this movie in theater then all the people says mind blowing movie.I am a big fan of this movie.
November 13, 201113 yr Ended up going to see this with some friends this week (not my choice) and thought it was AWFUL! It was essentially every single movie cliché IN EXISTENCE thrown into one film, complete with bad acting and seriously unlikeable characters (how we're expected to like Hugh Jackman's character when he's essentially a thief who abandoned his son is beyond me?) Scenes were seemingly thrown in just for the sake of having that particular emotional moment or just for another cliché even when they were entirely counter productive to the film actually making sense. And Hugh Jackman's neck is wider than his face.
January 7, 201213 yr Loved this film. It was basically 'Rocky' + 'Over the top' with robots but its predictability doesn't really matter. Imagine seeing this film as a kid, you'd have loved it. Alot of people are too jaded and cynical about films these days, myself included at times, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of movie magic once in a while. The kid actor was great, Hugh Jackman was a big presence and Evangeline Lily was perfect for her role, gorgeous woman. So is Olga Fonda, what a fox. All the elements were in place to make it a brilliant example of a feel good film.
