It's the LIVE performances that are making me more excited for this. I don't care if they aren't note perfect, both of yesterdays performances were very GOOD considering everyone always assumed they would be 100% DIRE live.

Yeah they were pretty good actually in places, Claire has always had a great voice, Faye sounded ok apart from being a bit shaky in places and it was only really Lisa and H who were off-key majorly

REALLY REALLY wanna hear One For Sorrow live, I would love it if they managed to get an X Factor slot this year; based on them apparently being asked back in 2009, it is not beyond the realms of possibility!

#2 is amazing and I remain convinced that it *could* be #1 if retailers would get their arses in gears and cater to popular demand. 10-20 copies per branch of HMV and on the bottom shelf of the new releases is unforgivable. Anybody know if supermarkets are stocking it? I haven't been to Asda/Tesco for ages...

The fact that it's spent two days at #1 on iTunes at £7.99 a pop (without videos) shows that demand is there if nothing else...

As an aside, the Say You'll Be Mine video is still genius and remains an excellent concept for a pop video.

Morrisons are definately stocking it, its #10 in their chart with Jason Derulo at #1

I went into Tesco today and it was #9 and there was just one copy left. Match this with Evanescence who were at #3 and their section was fully stocked
If retailers have under estimated the album , i think it could mean they will order more in to meet demand next week which would help it have a steady chart run, i think this happened with joe mc elderrys album classic, it done better than expected and some retailers couldnt meet demand.

What with the tour next year as well, it could be a decent stocking filler? I just hope it doesn't disappear from the charts rapidly but with xmas coming up it quite likely will

Still, I'd projected a one week and out #53 peak for it when it was first announced so to be #1 on iTunes and #2 in the midweeks is nothing short of amazing.

I imagine they could be looking at a decent seller across the Xmas season. If it goes platinum I'll be very pleased for them and I think that would beyond their expectations for this comeback. I do fear though that any new music would tank because this does seem to be very much nostalgia based.

I completely agree, they'll get away with a new single released around the time of the tour but I think a new studio album would be pushing it. It worked for Boyzone but then I don't know how much of that was down to Stephen Gately's passing and the fact that it was a tribute album to him really...

IF they do decide to record something new, it would have to be a career best song and do they have that in them? I don't think so personally. I also fear as to what they might end up coming out with, LSL compared them to Gaga and they really should avoid anything like that. It would be a difficult and I feel altogether unecessary road for them to go down.

I really think that a slight modernisation of the It's The Way You Make Me Feel sound would be perfect, definitely get some Swedish songwriters onboard again and not Pete Waterman or anybody affiliated with him. I hope they don't go down the cover route again if they do release a new single at any point.

I think its pretty inevitable that if they do come out with new music its highly likely that while the first and second singles might do well, there chances of getting all top 5's like they did back in the day is highly unlikely regardless of how good the music is due to the way the charts are these days.
Ya i hop ethey dont go near pete waterman as if they do they will end up having something extremely dated from 1988.

No matter how good the body is he just doesn't have a sexy face. Not ugly, just not in any way fanciable.

In other words, a face I would love :D

Still #2 in the midweeks but have closed the gap on evanescence by about 250 copies, the top 3 sales are very close but either way they are safe i think for top 3 and are still in with a shout of number 1, i hope they get number 1 for 2 reasons, 1 been adding another number 1 album to their credit but i think if they get the number 1 the press will make more of a deal of it and that will bring more exposure for them that could benefit sales next week.
