Love how a whole series of this hasn't even created a page of disussion. (Although this will probably start page 2 now I've said that) X Factor gets multiple pages an episode.

Personally I think Chelsee should have won this.

I am hearing that Alesha has officially quit!

New judge announcement expected Summer 2012.

Edited by JackLangSyne

I will be upset that she has left if she hasn't joined BGT as I love Alesha and always enjoy watching her on my TV. I think she will be on BGT as the BGT line up is announced at midnight tonight, and the rumour is that the talks with Dannii fell through at the last minute, so Alesha said she would do it.

Yeah, it is looking pretty concrete - David Walliams has been pretty much confirmed for ages so I'd imagine for a 4th judge they'd be looking at another female, and Alesha is a better fit than any of the rumours tbh.

Confirmed on her website: Alesha has decided not to return to Strictly Come Dancing after a successful 3 series run and will instead be joining the Britains Got Talent panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

Alesha said in a statement: ‘After 3 incredible years on the Strictly come dancing Judging Panel I have decided that it is time to move on. Strictly Come Dancing will always hold a special place in my heart as it has been such an amazing experience, both as a winning competitor and as a judge. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the show, the production team, my fellow judges, and a very special thank you to the fans for their support.’

Speaking of the future, she added: ‘Music is my great passion and the reason for the other incredible opportunities that have come my way and I am looking forward to getting back into the studio and focusing on making a new record in 2012.
