The article went a little something like this... Rachel Stevens' career as a solo artist has taken something of a nosedive since her latest track Come And Get It failed to find an audience. But I hear she could be looking at reality TV in a bid to make a comeback. My spies on the hit show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! reveal they are offering Rachel the highest ever deal for a female to join this November's line up. But it doesn't end there. No. They later rank her as one of the top celebrities to have on their shows. The source said: She's worth a mint and we think she is ratings gold. As for Rachel, she is keeping tight-lipped about the offer, but said: "I do love a good reality TV show and I know they can help a career." August 2, 200618 yr I don't think Rachy's career is THAT dead yet, Peter Andre yes he is a washed up has-been and was a big star in like the 90's. Whereas Rachel only released her last album in 2005, so I think it's a bit early to be throwing her into those kinda shows. Rachel NO. Lisa Scott-Lee YES. However I agree with everyone else I WOULD watch it if she was on. :wub:

August 3, 200618 yr I do think as soon as you even consider a show like this your career is as good as over, it makes great television and everyone loves you for a few weeks but it never makes a difference in the long run. Although I disagree with you Kelly, her career has taken enough of a nosedive for her to consider this - as much as I don't want her to. -_- But I WOULD watch ^_^

Producers hope that the pop singer will repeat the success of former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona, who won the show in 2004. An insider told The People, "Rachel will be a coup for the show because she will be popular with all generations. The show would attract fans of her music but she's also a regular pin-up in men's magazines and will appeal to blokes of all ages. "Kerry was a real hit because she came over so well and it is hoped Rachel will be the same. You never know, she may find real romance like Jordan did with Peter Andre." Other celebrities in talks to join the show include model Michelle Marsh, singer Lee Ryan, Sven's lover Nancy Dell'olio and Love Island's Calum Best. An ITV spokesman said, "We can't confirm anything. We've approached loads of people."
