If this was released as the 2nd 'BTW' single, then this could have easily been a SMASH hit.

Also this is how the era SHOULD have went:

"Born This Way"

"Marry The Night"

"The Edge of Glory"

"Judas"

"Hair"

"You & I" [Limited US release]

"Heavy Metal Lover" [European single]

Fixed.

Agreed!!

This and Edge of Glory is REAL music, Frank Sinatra-level real, mature music, not disposable throwaway hits from her contemporaries. It's art. And these two songs just go unrivalled by her other material and by anythin any other music stars are doin, male and female.

So, this is in contrast to you banging on about how "cheesy" it is to anybody who'll listen nowadays. And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously.

Hard to believe marry the night is 10 years old as it really doesnt fell that old but 10 years on i still love it.
I absolutely love her referencing it ten years later, she should be so proud of it because it's such a loud, brave and impressive body of work. Especially when considered about her abortion she revealed in the Oprah documentary this year and how that ties into the video and we didn't all understand the velocity of the hospital scenes until now. So proud of her.

Love this

It's an incredible song and video and as you mention, has just as much (if not MORE) power now than it did 10 years ago.
