February 25, 201213 yr Author I'm going to add another rumour to the mix: The Saturdays are shooting a video for a BRAND NEW song just 3 months after their album release - perfect timing for ESC? I know that there is no chance of the Sats doing ESC, but I thought I'd say it anyway :P
February 25, 201213 yr I'm going to add another rumour to the mix: The Saturdays are shooting a video for a BRAND NEW song just 3 months after their album release - perfect timing for ESC? I know that there is no chance of the Sats doing ESC, but I thought I'd say it anyway :P Well you could add Amelle Berrabah, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, Tulisa, Cheryl... all of those are currently recording. Leona would be a safe bet for the Top 5?
February 25, 201213 yr I don't think I'd rule out The Saturdays at the moment, at least half of their albums have flopped so what have they got to lose? I could see Radio 1 snubbing the next single whether they did Eurovision or not and it would "surprise". edit; Plus Una already knows what it's like to be on the Eurovision stage. February 25, 201213 yr I'd quite like that to be honest, but I can't help but think they'd fare as well as No Angels did. :(
February 25, 201213 yr I'd quite like that to be honest, but I can't help but think they'd fare as well as No Angels did. :( ...but No Angels were terrible on the night. Their vocals were so shaky it just made for uncomfortable listening. :(
February 25, 201213 yr Well you could add Amelle Berrabah, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, Tulisa, Cheryl... all of those are currently recording. Ooh maybe they're forming a girl band especially for Eurovision. Edited February 25, 201213 yr by Sabrewulf
February 25, 201213 yr Author Reporter at the Star on Sunday: Edward Gleave @Ed_StarOnSunday Plus, we reveal the UK entry for Eurovision this year #OMG Will the BBC tweet it tonight? Surely, they'll want to announce before a newspaper does? Edited February 25, 201213 yr by Ryan741
February 25, 201213 yr It's a good thought. Either way, I'm glad to know that we will finally know who we have tomorrow. Was it the Star that revealed we had Blue last year?
February 25, 201213 yr Author Gareth Morgan @19 @Eurovision NEWSFLASH! Have just called DailyStar and they will reveal the @bbceurovision UK rep on their website AT MIDNIGHT GMT I don't know who he is but we'll see what happens. I guess this will leak on Twitter before Midnight at a guess? I hope it's not the Hoff :L
February 25, 201213 yr Wow :o Guess I'll stay up, was going to go to bed earlier tonight  I'll prepare to be underwhelmed.
February 25, 201213 yr I would LOVE Dido. She's one of my all time favourite. I don't know why but I think it will be Diana Vickers.

February 25, 201213 yr Author Don't let Ryan see that! :o If it was Diana it would be the best UK entry in history, and the best ESC entry of all time!!! I don't think Diana would do it though, I keep seeing the Hoff's name around at the moment. Hopefully it'll be Mel C and Burn - I think that will be eligible won't it? :D
February 25, 201213 yr I think I'd literally LOL if it was the Hoff. He was popular in Europe (particularly Germany) so other countries may well send us some points purely because it's the Hoff rather than the song is good.
February 25, 201213 yr Author Latest rumour is East 17! I hope not! :P After all this, I bet nothing will even be announced!
