November 6, 201113 yr I've heard it several times on Radio 1. Also - Alan Carr tonight! 10pm, Channel 4... first TV promo for My Heart Takes Over :)
November 6, 201113 yr I'm excited! Hopefully will increase awareness, airplay and pre-orders for My Heart Takes Over/On Your Radar!
November 6, 201113 yr In hindsight I wish 'All Fired Up' launched the album and this was kept back for a January release...
November 6, 201113 yr Heart Takes Over new Television Airplay peak #23 It must climb to top #15 on Tv Airplay next week and climb top #40 in the radio airplay Imo, I am very worried for how this single is going to go now :( Edited November 6, 201113 yr by lee wallace
November 7, 201113 yr Decent performance on Alan Carr I thought. Really hoping this will be as big as I wish it to be. Although a few major releases have under performed lately! :o (Cher Lloyd, JLS (although still going #1 - I thought they'd storm ahead but Rihanna's going to give them a run in her 6th week in the chart!), The Wanted, Pixie Lott) So I'm not sure if this will do as well as we want. :( Still. Fingers crossed for at LEAST top 10!
November 7, 201113 yr I got excited thinking they'd be on X Factor on the 20th, but it seems it's just Xtra Factor. http://xfactor-updates.com/x-factor-week-7-guests/ Edited November 7, 201113 yr by Encore
November 7, 201113 yr Least their performing on the Xtra Factor instead of interview. Although it shouldn't have any impact.
November 7, 201113 yr The guy who seems to find out about the guest performances first (he's got them right every week so far) said it seems the girls were originally due to appear on the main show with Rihanna as he was told first time round but recently been told it seems the girls are now demoted to Xtra Factor in favour of the charity single performance, taking their place. Annoying. Don't see why the charity single performance can't just take the place of the finalists group performance instead and have the two guest stars as normal, but no. Or even 3 performances like they did with Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson and Pro Green with Rihanna, The Sats and the charity single, but again, no... typical Saturdays luck! It's not the be all or end all no, but when it seems they were originally going to be on, and to have to settle for less again is soo frustrating, if true. Edited November 7, 201113 yr by Encore
November 7, 201113 yr Encore, where's the source that The Saturdays were originally performing on the main show? Here's hoping the producers change there mind.
November 7, 201113 yr http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1575400 They said this further down the thread: Sorry, I was told Rihanna & The Saturdays were booked for that weekend. Since then, heard that The Saturdays are doing the Xtra Factor as the group charity song is on the main show. So it seems like they were originally due to be on the main show, then replaced by the charity single? I really don't see why all 3 can't perform on the main show - have the charity single replace the finalist group performance and Rihanna/The Sats the two guests, like usual. November 7, 201113 yr I am disgraced if that's the case. It's not a double elimination and The xFactor could have easily made it three performances. If this is the case the Xfactor could have cost them around 10,000+ album sales. So Gutted if they were scheduled to be performing. I hope it's a mistake and The Saturdays do perform on the live show. I am just going to have to spam the xFactor on twitter then...
November 7, 201113 yr If it is true and they were replaced then I'd rather have known they wouldn't have got a slot at all rather than know they had one, only to lose it - especially to think they could have potentially gained more hype and interest around the album to around 12 million people. :( It's more frustrating than not being considered to perform at all. But then again his post could be construed as vague, and he may have meant that The Sats were always scheduled for Xtra Factor and not the main show. I don't know but to me, when I first read his post it sounded like they'd originally been invited on. This guy is quite reliable too, so it's hardly complete bull, he's got every guest performance right this series (and last). And he's also had the final 16 for this year and last year correct weeks before the live shows too. Edited November 7, 201113 yr by Encore
November 7, 201113 yr Who gets invited to perform their single on the Xtra Factor though? I think they obviously had no time to fit them in, although on every xFactor you see three performances, two big names and all the contestants singing. To make matters worse Jls & One Direction will also be performing in the Charity Single. Not that they will have been on the xFactor before.
November 7, 201113 yr I hope it's just a mistake or something haha and they're on the main show but I doubt it. Ah well, no point getting our hopes up. :P They've been on Xtra Factor now 3 years running. It's not like they'd have a shite intro either, I mean look at Professor Green's VT... If only that charity single was released the week after lol! Edited November 7, 201113 yr by Encore
November 7, 201113 yr Airplay, Note this is not accurate, just helps give an indication. Radio Airplay 58. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 67. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over Television Airplay 19. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over 75. The Saturdays - All Fired Up
November 7, 201113 yr RalsjAPEClQ First Television Performance My Heart Takes Over still hasn't re-entered the top 200 albums on iTunes. Worrying to say the least. On Your Radar is #119 Edited November 7, 201113 yr by lee wallace
November 7, 201113 yr It's worrying that this might not even get top 10. And their promo hardly seems like it'll help... :/
November 7, 201113 yr Author I always knew that the charity track would be performed but was laughed off for saying so. Gary Barlow produced the whole thing and you know how the xfactor like to 'keep it in the family'. However if they where in the original lineup then thays good news for them.
November 7, 201113 yr I always knew that the charity track would be performed but was laughed off for saying so. Gary Barlow produced the whole thing and you know how the xfactor like to 'keep it in the family'. However if they where in the original lineup then thays good news for them. I don't think it's the Gary Barlow/Children in Need track, I think it's the XF finalists charity single. :) But then again I might be wrong haha. I guess it's kinda good news if it is true that they were originally booked as they're finally getting some recognition, but then again it's not that good to know it's been snatched away and their chance of having a 'moment', getting themselves out there to the around 13 million people on the biggest show on TV and thus potentially boosting sales for the single, album and tour has been lost through that. If this is all true, then it's safe to say these girls are so unlucky at times/literally cursed! :P I really don't get why they can't just have 3 guests like a few weeks ago, it's not as if there would be time restrictions with the results etc now since there are less acts in the show... ah well.
