01 - I do! Hence it's reclimb to the top! I also have the album and it's really good, one or two tracks aside! The lyrics of Lady Marlene have changed somewhat, so that'll take some getting used to, but I can see my liking it just as much as the live version eventually! Do you want me to send you the album?

05 - Yep, I do like this one, but I'm disappointed they released the single through their website only. I was expecting it to be on HMV, and by the time I realised it wasn't going to be, it was out of stock! :( I've ordered the same bundle off Ebay, so hopefully that will arrive soon! I'm not normally that into buying singles anymore, but I have all of their releases to date so far, so it would be a shame to miss this one!

08 - I got my CD on Saturday, it gets better with every listen!

09 - I'm really looking forward to a new album now, as this song is growing on me constantly!

15 - Agreed, another new album I'm looking forward to! The debut was surprisingly fantastic!

39 - It suddenly clicked with me! It's more the music that I like rather than the rapping though.

46 - I think so, they're a little old hat now :lol: . It doesn't help that they keep ripping off other artist's sounds rather than finding their own identity!

1. Really!?! Is it anywhere near the quality of the debut? I've just found a link actually so downloading it now, thanks for the offer though! :D

5. Oh dear, I've completely stopped buying CD singles now it has to be said. There only seem to be 1 or 2 new ones released (or available) per week now and not often songs that I'm bothered with :drama:

8. Agreed, it's amazing! It probably deserves more than 2 weeks atop my album chart but Ed Sheeran's out this week and I'm LOVING it (shocker!) :lol:

9. It really is a massive grower, the verses are fantastic!

39. That's good then, it's one of my favourite songs of the summer, the music is great!

46. Yeah indeed, ah well, they were good when they were at the top of their game...nothing on their new album would feature in my top ten songs of theirs though...

52. Can't say I was a fan of either of those (although loved the Leona cover of Run), my favourite song of theirs by a mile is Set The Fire To The Third Bar, gorgeous song :wub:

1. Just listened to it this morning, LOVE the first half of the album, the second half less so including Loathesome M which is just bizarre, moreso than usual for them and in a grating way as opposed to a good way :lol: Interesting to see a cover of Land of Confusion on there, I like what they did with it actually!

5. Good idea, if Girls Aloud ever release another physical single then I'll probably do that. The only acts I have complete collections of I think (where they've had 10+ singles) are Girls Aloud and Delta!

8. I was going to say that I'm surprised that Katzenjammer weren't your album of the week this week! I'll be buying the Steps collection too, the DVD edition as the other one would be pointless really :lol: I don't see it charting amazingly well to be honest though :drama:

46. It's Evacuate The Dancefloor closely followed by Everytime We Touch for me :D I always thought they were turned out surpisingly good albums for an act of their nature, shame they always picked the wrong singles from them :lol:

I did listen to this but I've already forgotten it. Can't be a good sign. That said, I do have to be in the right mood to really appreciate them.

1. Just listened to it this morning, LOVE the first half of the album, the second half less so including Loathesome M which is just bizarre, moreso than usual for them and in a grating way as opposed to a good way :lol: Interesting to see a cover of Land of Confusion on there, I like what they did with it actually!

5. Good idea, if Girls Aloud ever release another physical single then I'll probably do that. The only acts I have complete collections of I think (where they've had 10+ singles) are Girls Aloud and Delta!

8. I was going to say that I'm surprised that Katzenjammer weren't your album of the week this week! I'll be buying the Steps collection too, the DVD edition as the other one would be pointless really :lol: I don't see it charting amazingly well to be honest though :drama:

46. It's Evacuate The Dancefloor closely followed by Everytime We Touch for me :D I always thought they were turned out surpisingly good albums for an act of their nature, shame they always picked the wrong singles from them :lol:

 

01 - Yeah, tracks 9 to 11 are the weak links on the album, but I've known Gypsy Flee for a while now so have got used to it even if it essentially is just noise :lol: . I love the cover of Land Of Confusion, they performed it live when I saw them. Glad they included it on the album. One thing I noticed with this album is there's a lot of ABBA influences on some tracks. Cocktails and Ruby Slippers reminds me of some of the stuff from the Ring Ring/Waterloo albums and Soviet Trumpeter reminded me of I Let The Music Speak from The Visitors. Of course, this helped me love both songs immediately :D

05 - Same, I have all GA singles and that travel case box which I bought when it was half price purely for Memory Of You :lol: . The most notable complete collections I have are GA, S Club 7, The Saturdays (once All Fired Up arrives), Spice Girls, Steps, Sugababes (I hope Freedom gets some sort of physical release) and Vengaboys :lol: .

08 - I didn't get Katzenjammer until yesterday, so it just missed my chart! I don't know whether to get the DVD edition or not, as I have Gold on DVD and I think that has all the videos anyway :lol: . I can't see it doing that well either, had they put a bonus disc of unreleased material on it, then it might have done a lot better! Sadly, there isn't much demand for another cover of Dancing Queen - unless of course it is actually a new song which shares a title with the ABBA classic (I wish!)

46 - Agreed! I wasn't mad on the second album, but the first and third albums were excellent from start to finish!

04 - I was really late getting into aswell! I think I saw the name Breakage and wrote it off immediately after I didn't like his first major release. It reminds me of Motorcycle's As The Rush Comes.

09 - I'm sadly not a fan of Caotico, but I love Call My Name! Really looking forward to the next album (and hopefully an MF entry, but that might be asking too much).

14 - Yep, and like with Tove, I'm hopeful an MF appearance is lined up.

1. There will be, I've got a big list! Apparently Medina's new album is out next week :o Hope it leaks as Nordic Musik don't seem to have it up for pre-order (they should change their name to 'Swedish and a bit of other Musik'!)

5. Agree, LOVED that, it went top 10 in my chart which is pretty rare for B-sides! Their biggest b-side in my chart though was Stay Another Day which went to...#1 :blush: It was very random seeing as I haven't listened to it in years, it's definitely the worst of the four proper Corrs studio albums, that said I really enjoyed being reacquainted with it in the strangest of circumstances :lol:

8. I listen to everything I buy at least once, although I can always tell if I like them from the first listen - even if I don't love them straight away I can always tell if they'll be a grower or if they're just crap! I'd say about a third of the albums I've bought over the year I've only played the one time :o They're still good to have if they've got 2 or 3 strong singles on them though. I agree, I really want to watch it but I can't get Living on my TV. Hopefully it'll be put on Youtube or something...yeah I agree, I don't see how it could really be updated production wise at all :lol:

1. There will be, I've got a big list! Apparently Medina's new album is out next week :o Hope it leaks as Nordic Musik don't seem to have it up for pre-order (they should change their name to 'Swedish and a bit of other Musik'!)

5. Agree, LOVED that, it went top 10 in my chart which is pretty rare for B-sides! Their biggest b-side in my chart though was Stay Another Day which went to...#1 :blush: It was very random seeing as I haven't listened to it in years, it's definitely the worst of the four proper Corrs studio albums, that said I really enjoyed being reacquainted with it in the strangest of circumstances :lol:

8. I listen to everything I buy at least once, although I can always tell if I like them from the first listen - even if I don't love them straight away I can always tell if they'll be a grower or if they're just crap! I'd say about a third of the albums I've bought over the year I've only played the one time :o They're still good to have if they've got 2 or 3 strong singles on them though. I agree, I really want to watch it but I can't get Living on my TV. Hopefully it'll be put on Youtube or something...yeah I agree, I don't see how it could really be updated production wise at all :lol:

01 - I've ordered Medina off CDON. For Altid was fantastic, so I have high hopes for this new album! Nordic Musik is surprisingly limited in terms of releases from outside of Sweden. This is partly why I pre-ordered Le Kid from CDON what with them being Danish!

05 - Girls On Film was a favourite of mine too! I used to own In Blue, but it vanished and I haven't got round to rebuying it :lol: . At least I have the Best Of!

08 - I have a huge amount of albums I've never played, it's really bad! I'll probably never get round to listening to most of the current batch I have sitting there waiting :lol: .

 

01 Oh, could you? That'd be brilliant of you, thank you! I really like how they make some very novelty sounds into tight pop songs that don't sound cheap at all, it's very impressive.

1. I wasn't so taken by For Altid personally but I LOVED her last album so am quite interesting in the new one. Yeah I agree, perhaps they're not so easy to source? Norwegian releases are a bugger to get hold of I know :lol: Danish? Le Kid are Swedish aren't they?

5. Oh yeah, that went to #5 for me, surprising how well they've done in my chart over the years, they've got to be second only to Delta in terms of volume of top ten hits, I'd estimate that they've had about 40 including singles, album tracks and b-sides :o I saw In Blue in Poundland the other day, would have been an ideal place to snap it up! Annoyingly I can't get most Corrs' albums (including In Blue) onto my iPod as they seem to be copy protected, same with Andrea's first solo album :/
