Despite Angel's bad luck it went to #1 on the Australian Singles Chart (as a double A-Side with Into The Groove and also on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Songs. Angel was dethroned from the #1 spot by Madonna's own Crazy For You in Australia. Performances Angel was performed on The Virgin Tour. Though, the performance never actually made the tv showing or the vhs and laser disc release. Angel was apart of the original plans for the Sticky & Sweet Tour set list for 2008 in the Old Skool section but was scrapped. September 12, 201113 yr Author Angel is one of my top 10 favourite ever Madonna songs. It's fun, sweet and playful. It's kind of a shame Madonna hasn't performed this since 1985, but her image has changed sooo many times since then. Angel (sadly) was released at the wrong time to become a major Madonna song but I still love it.

September 12, 201113 yr Author The Extended Dance Remix is the best imo because you have people saying Madonna, madonna, madonna. Etc right at the very start and end. Of course the remix is good too.
