Posted August 2, 200619 yr Polydor newcomer James Morrison looks likely to dethrone Razorlight from the album chart summit this weekend, with early retail reports suggesting his debut Undiscovered has been outselling the Vertigo act's second album by a significant margin since its release yesterday. The singer, whose debut single You Give Me Something has been at number five for the past fortnight, will head an all-Universal top three in the albums chart, with Snow Patrol’s Eyes Open (Fiction) close behind. Other likely new entries in the albums chart top 30 come from The Puppini Sisters (UCJ), Stone Sour (Roadrunner) and DMX (Columbia). Media coverage for Madonna’s UK tour is generating a week-on-week sales increase of more than 50% for Confessions On A Dance Floor (Warner Bros), while greatest hits collections from Sam Cooke and Bill Withers are also witnessing significant sales gains. In the singles market, Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna continue to dominat, with Casada’s Everytime We Touch (All Around The World) set to climb into the top five, just ahead of Paris’ Stars Are Blind (Warner Bros). Other climbers caused by physical release arrivals come from Similou (Direction), Captain (EMI), The Raconteurs (XL) and Boy Kill Boy (Vertigo), while new entries are likely to come from The Holloways (TVT), Mousse T Vs The Dandy Warhols (Positiva), Orson (Mercury), The Horrors (Loog), Source: Music Week ==================================================================== Singles 01 Shakira feat Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 02 Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man 03 Rihanna - Unfaithful 04 Cascada - Everytime We Touch **Climber** 06 Paris Hilton - Stars Are Blind **Climber** Top 30 Similou - All This Love **Climber** The Holloways - Two Left Feet **New Entry** The Raconteurs - Hands **New Entry** Top 40 Captain - Glorious **Climber** Frank - I'm Not Shy**New Entry** Boy Kill Boy - Civil Sin **New Entry** Top 75 Mousse T vs Dandy Warhols - Horny As A Dandy **Download** Orson - Happiness **Download** The Horrors - Death At The Chapel **New Entry** White Rose Movement - London's Mine **New Entry** TV On The Radio - Wolf Like Me **New Entry** Polytechnic - PEP **New Entry** ============================================ Albums 01 James Morrison 02 Razorlight 03 Snow Patrol Top 20 The Puppini Sisters Stone Sour Top 40 DMX Courtesy to Airboy^ at havenforum
