Posted September 18, 201113 yr Apparently Britney will perform on X Factor ! http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/2115...ingle-Criminal/
September 18, 201113 yr I actually can see 'Criminal' benefiting hugely from the XF performance, it's just *THAT* song which could do well after it, it fits in.
September 18, 201113 yr PERFECT single choice now then! Hopefully majority of it will be live, like she's done on her tour and stuff. I'm really hoping it can help and save the album too! AHHHH! I'm so excited
September 18, 201113 yr It won't make any difference unless it gets some exposure beforehand and I don't see why it would. Songs that are performed on these shows the people don't know and hear regularly already generally see very little benefit because not many people will buy a song on the back of hearing it for the first time. Don't get too excited, it'll probably cause the album to move up about 15 places and the song go from the 400s on iTunes to somewhere in the 100s.

Hopefully it'll get FF passed 100k though. (She's less than 20k away - so I think it could be done...)
September 18, 201113 yr That's not necessarily true; I know it was a different situation, in that she'd already had big success that era, but Katy Perry managed to get 'Firework' into the top five after the first bit of exposure for the song. Anyway, I can't wait to see it; hopefully it will give the song and album a positive effect, but looking at the list of promo she already has down, I can't see any of the rest being performances.
