Hello all. This is a new idea I borrowed from the Madonna forum :P

Each week (hopefully) I'll post up a random song by Pink with a little blurb of info. We'll all say what we think of it and give a score out of 10.

I'll take an average and we'll have a small table of the songs, just to satisfy my curiosity.

 

First one will be up tomorrow sometime :D

Sounds good, am I to understand we are including all songs? Meaning bsides, unlreleased and perhaps even tracks from Can't Take Me Home? If so, it'll be a wonderful way for people to maybe hear 'new' songs from Pink :)

I don't know many unreleased tracks, but have a fair few b-sides and stuff :D

There WILL be Can't Take Me Home tracks, I intend to buy that this week.

I'll send you a list of unreleased tracks sometime in the week, then you can youtube them and see if any are good enough for this :D

Sober was the 2nd single from the Funhouse album, it reached #9 in the UK and #15 in the US.

10/10 fosho :wub: One of my favourite Pink songs, I always love her ballads!

9/10 Love this ballad! :wub: Probably my favourite P!nk ballad (if not, second to F**king Perfect)! She's probably the only singer I know that can do fantastic pop-rock songs and also fantastic ballads! I remember turning up my radio whenever it came on, so the whole house could hear :D

Definitely 10/10 for me, i actually didnt care for it at all in the beginning and was disappointed it was going to be a single, but then it grew on me exponentially and has now become one of my all time favorites, the video is in my top 2 with U + UR Hand, but at the moment its probably my #1, i love the darkness to the song itself and i think the video captures the darkness to the song perfectly, so all around 10/10 for me!

Defo one of my fave videos (nobody knows is my number 1 music vid). I dont usually like listening to the slowies when I'm out (on the bus to work etc) but i dont mind this one :wub: The performance of it on the Funhouse tour was amazing, I remember taking my mum to one of her shows, but it was after Pink hurt her shoulder so she didnt do the trapeze act, my mum couldnt believe that someone can do that and sing live and do it well :lol: But, I also like it when she sings the song and just sits back :wub:

 

Oh and I LOVE this :wub:

'Sober' is definitely a 10/10 for me now. I didn't appreciate it fully until after I saw it live at the Funhouse tour. :wub:

The first single from Pink's first Greatest Hits package. Reached #13 in the UK and #1 in the US

 

Raise Your Glass is fantastic. It may not be very different or original, but it's uplifting and the video is even BETTER. Can't believe it was completely ignored at the VMA's :( 10/10 again from me!
