March 24, 201213 yr One of the best shows on TV, I did find at the start of the series a bit slow to begin with, it definitely picked up from the mid point and the last few episodes was just compelling TV, the finale was the cream of the crop, it was so good, damn commercials got in the way. The production of the show is excellent, I love to be a zombie extra :D 'Twas indeed quite excellent. Glad that Daryl & Herschel are backing Rick even if he is a Ricktator now! WTF is Carol still doing here? She's the only character with no character at all! I think I even prefer Lori - at least she has a character / personality - even if it is of the Lady Macbeth kind - and she does provoke an emotion from viewers - even if it is one of almost universal hate. Carol just provokes no emotion at all from the viewer other than a puzzling 'why are you here?' Can't wait until October! And the return of Merle!!!!! Sorry Will! I think I've put that spoiler in a little too late! Kath Edited March 24, 201213 yr by Kath
March 24, 201213 yr I like to know what is going to happen to Andrea now will she be split from the group for the entire of Season 3, The cast is just perfect now, it could do without Carol and the other girl, not Maggie the other blonde girl.

Beth! But at least she has potential to develop - Carol has had a whole two series now and hasn't come on at all. She's bugging me now - and how dare she question Rick's honour? I don't know why everyone (except Daryl and Herschel) were giving Rick such a hard time for not telling them about what Jenner said. I mean - what difference does it make? The only one I could see is that they'd have to ensure anyone who died (however they died) had to have a bullet/arrow/shovel through their head to make sure that they really were gone! And until he saw Shane come back - there was no reason why he should have believed what Jenner said. Kath Edited March 24, 201213 yr by Kath
March 24, 201213 yr Author What a fantastic ending to a brilliant series! I am in full agreement with Rooney in regards to Emmy nominations and other notable awards! Especially for the directing and camerawork. I fear i may be alone, but I quite like Carol (and Lori for that matter)! LOL. When she was getting backed up against the shed thing by the walkers I was thinking to myself "oh nooo!" :( I dunno, but I'd quite like her and Daryl get together. I think it's quite sweet! Although Daryl is definitely being held back by her character. Maybe with the return of Merle he'll be of some sort of use. I thought throughout this series daryl was the one major character who was under used.
March 24, 201213 yr http://www.tvguide.com/News/Walking-Dead-B...ng-1045210.aspx Daryl saved Carol during the zombie attack on the farm in true superhero style, sweeping her away on his chopper. Will love finally bloom? Not if Norman Reedus can help it! The fan fave who plays Daryl hopes things stay platonic, though he adores working with Melissa McBride. "I've fought against having Carol and Daryl hook up because there's already too many of us doing it on this show," says Reedus. "It's more interesting to see these two damaged people gravitating to each other, needing each other's friendship. But I gotta admit it would be hysterical watching Daryl put on a bunch of deodorant before he goes in for his first kiss." I agree with Norman!

May 11, 201213 yr For those who only have terrestrial (or simply want to watch again) series two begins this Monday, May 14 on Channel 5. Kath
June 22, 201213 yr omg catching up and episode 11 (where they were deciding whether or not to kill the boy) was all kinds of AMAZING. So intense.
June 22, 201213 yr The finale got absolutely huge ratings. 4.7 in 18-49. Scripted television wise, I think only The Big Bang Theory has got better numbers this season. Anyway if AMC slash the budget then they are absolutely mental. They should do a multi-season order straight away. 4.7 on AMC?! HOLY SHIT that's mental. Anyway, only just finally caught up. I N C R E D I B L E finale.
June 23, 201213 yr 4.7 on AMC?! HOLY SHIT that's mental. Anyway, only just finally caught up. I N C R E D I B L E finale. It's broken all kinds of records on AMC. I'm not sure why either, although I put it down to the lack of genre shows on TV in general these days. I reckon the premiere for season 3 might hit a 5.0 or over, but I think the show will peak at that. AND AMC cut the budget for the 2nd season drastically, mental stuff.
July 22, 201212 yr Author Why was the season 3 thread locked? We had promotional images and a trailer, so surely it'd be ok to have open?
August 10, 201212 yr Link to a deleted scene from series 2. I believe this is the bit where after CDC they tried heading to the place they met the Vatos at. Can't wait to get my hands on the DVD (even if S2 was a bit slow to start off with). Kath

September 5, 201212 yr Date set for UK premier of series 3. http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2012/09/fx-uk-sets...-dead-season-3/
September 5, 201212 yr Looking forward to this. This and Homeland is going to fill my Monday after True Blood and Breaking Bad have finished!
September 6, 201212 yr The new season is going to be amazing, I just really hope the pacing is a little faster than what it was in the first half of season 2.
September 6, 201212 yr i don't think these have been posted. I really like the 2nd poster: http://i.imgur.com/aWMHU.jpg http://static.tvfanatic.com/images/gallery/walking-dead-season-3-poster.jpg
September 7, 201212 yr I'm sure a lot will have seen these already - but for those who haven't - deleted scenes from season 2 (all rolled into one here). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFOQZ6Sr_dI&sns=tw I wish they'd kept some of these in - there were some really slow patches in the first half of series 2 that needed a shot in the arm. Can't wait to get the dvd. I'm not going to bother with blu-ray though - can't see the difference - not sure if its how TWD is filmed in the first place. I think I'll get it from Asda too - theirs is £8 cheaper than HMV.

I adore 'The Walking Dead', but not as much as 'Dexter' for me to part with £30.
