It's hilarious and scary how much some of it is like real uni life. Sabine reminds me of my foreign housemate far too much. Vod is easily the best character though . I love/hate Josie ... she can be hilarious tbh and that little pixie looking lesbian creature is annoying as f***, as is Will from Inbetweeners.

Yep, I loved the first series, and this has been equally as good.

It's quite scary how much we think alike sometimes, because I have also been watching and enjoying both this and Friday Night Dinner at the moment. It is great to see Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap working as well together as they did in Green Wing!

Although having said this Simon Bird seems to be very much reprising his role as Will McKenzie (complete with the 'brilliant' catchphrase) and Joe Thomas likewise reprising Simon Cooper.

I'm with you on the two Inbetweeners; Simon Bird, despite being billed as the main draw in the first series, is very much the weak link of the Friday Night Dinner cast. Not that he's bad as such, but simply that if you've watched the Inbetweeners, you know EXACTLY what you're going to get. Joe Thomas in Fresh Meat is likeable enough, but again cast in the luckless-in-love role, and it's getting to the point where I'm no longer rooting for he and Josie to sort themselves out (for it is far too obvious, and Josie is becoming an evil little mare).

Probably my favourite thing on TV at the moment, I echo Jack about how much it reminds me of my own uni life in parts!

Charlotte Ritchie and Zawe Ashton (Oregon/Vod) are absolutely brilliant and both hilarious, I hope they go on to big things in their acting careers. Tony Gardner as Tony Shales is inspired casting too, some of the humour in the show reminds me a little of an adult version of My Parents Are Aliens so he really fits the bill perfectly.

I agree with you that Vod and Oregon/Melissa are played brilliantly, the whole show is scripted very well and yes it is quite easy to relate to a lot of it.

Tony Gardner is also great, I've been a fan of his for ages from things like Lead Balloon and more recently The Thick of It.
