This is a bloody good synth-pop song and nice to see Britt Love get out of the flat for a bit...

J'ADORE Monarchy, but this was always my least favourite song on the album. They've only gone with this as a single because just about everything else has already been released!

 

Britt adds nothing to it either, her voice isn't at all suited to the song and sounds very weak compared with the guys voice, at least for me. Decent video I guess, but it's obviously not going to do anything chart wise.

You are a man of good popular music taste dearest John.

 

It's a shame what happened with them at Mercury and all that "beamed into space" gig rubbish that meant nothing and seemed like a very ill concieved A&R man's decision.

 

Much like the Sound of Arrows they are going to be the kind of pop appreciated by the few and never the plenty.

The worst Monarchy release to date.

 

 

This has half of Mini Viva on it. Thus I should like it. But meh. She doesn't go with it at all, as has been said.

Monarchy were much better when they were still called Milke. Love Get Out... was a fantastic tune.
