It looks like Robbie's album will be released next autumn. I reckon another Take That (including Robbie) album for autumn 2013........

If you've been tuning in to Robbie's blogs you'll already know that he has been busy in his Los Angeles studio recording his new album.

Today, we're extremely excited to announce that the album is set to be released next year by Universal Music following a deal struck between the world’s leading record company and the most successful British male solo artist ever.

The new studio album, Robbie’s first since Reality Killed The Video Star in 2009 and his latest creative venture following his phenomenally successful reunion with Take That, is likely to be the most hotly-anticipated new release of 2012. It will be issued worldwide by Universal Music next Autumn.

“I'm really thrilled to be joining the Universal family at what I think is the most exciting time in my career," said Robbie.

Tim Clark, Director, ie:music Ltd, says, “This great new deal puts Robbie Williams firmly in control of his own destiny, but with the most muscular of partners."

"What a thrill this announcement is," said Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grainge. "To be working with Robbie and his team and to have the opportunity to support this incredible stage of his career makes life so exciting."

David Joseph, Universal Music UK chairman & CEO, says: “Having had the chance to listen to the music I’ve no doubt that Robbie is currently at his most creatively inspired. We are about to witness something very special.”

i was hoping for a new album next christmas :(

i hope they still press ahead with an album for 2012, 4 piece or 5 piece, although i hope rob (although great on progress) is limited to a couple of leads and they have gary mark jason and howard shown more prominantly and not just as b sides.

Personelly id like the next take that album as a 4 piece to see what they come up with and while i liked/like progress i think id like the next album to be more gary mark focused like beautiful world and the circus.

yeah exactly, i want it to be much more heartfelt and commerical when it comes to releasing singles..

I need to check Amazon to see if I've definitely ordered this dvd. Sparkle assures me I have but b*ggered if I know

Did anyone manage to see the preview yesterday?

I've cancelled my dvd order

Getting it for Christmas instead.

It's amazing, got it today! Brought the memories back
Awwww excellent. Quite excited now

Mine arrived ok :cheer:

I've only watched the full Robbie bit and snippets of everything else. Did anyone see Robbie shouting to the audience woman who was heading to the loo just before he sang Feel? That was really funny. She must have been mortified

I got my Christmas present early

although now I seem to have 2 copies, don't ask

I've watched the whole concert, including the first 26 mins and 36 seconds until Robbie's on stage.

 So funny when that girl got picked on, not a Robbie fan I am guessing, she did take it all in good humour.

So has everyone got their copy now?

I may watch again this afternoon, nice to have something on in the background to watch

whilst I wrap my Christmas presents :smoke:
