Schedule wise this would actually work if she released ACT II in November 2023. Joker filming will be well and truly done, her stuff in z Vegas should be wrapped by this point / makes perfect sense to release it, if not a cute EP of the best stuff we didn’t get, DJWS and Madeon would be up for it.

She definitely mentioned it online that the album would be separated into two acts and released separately and we know there are tonnes of unreleased songs for the era. So in essence it exists in some form but probably needs work to make it into a complete package if it is coming.

I don’t know if we’ll ever get a full act two as in like an entire separate project and it being promoted and pushed (I mean that was the plan pre the original albums release but I don’t think we’ll see that happen now).

 

I can see a reissue happening though and maybe say 4-5 new tracks being on there but more as a fan gift kind of release rather than anything getting a major push. I think what happened this era and how it kind of went to s*** and how it represented a bad time of her life personally and professionally I think she’s hesitant at this era getting more attention but I can see some sort of reissue happening for it’s 10th birthday.

It’s still my least favourite solo era of hers BUT it is a great album in places with moments of genius in there.

What are skips for you guys? Or is there any?

No real skips… I’ve grown to quite like Jewels N Drugs over time :lol: I’d say my least favourites are that Swine, Donatella, Fashion section and I wish Dope stayed as I wanna be with you but yeah, I think for me with this album I’ve always both loved and disliked the production in equal measure in some tracks it’s fantastic but at times it’s a bit jarring and Gagas vocals which are genuinely fantastic and amongst the best in entertainment get lost amongst the franticness of the album.

 

Some positives from this era though are the many Applause live performances we got (I’ve always loved Applause though ik it’s a divisive single on here :lol:) I also love Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Do What U Want (sadly the OG version doesn’t exist but the Xtina one does slap and lyrically it is empowering), the title track and of course the Apple event and the tour.

 

I do hold all Gaga albums in high regards and can pin point them to times of my life but this is just the one what I return to the least as a whole piece.

Fashion! is a skip for me. (I don't skip when I listen to albums but if I did this would be the one :P)

Fashion for me too. And sometimes I just can't stand Venus, but it depends on the mood.

I listened this morning to celebrate its 9th birthday. It's a riot! I always think it's drawing to a close as Gypsy ends then when Applause starts I remember how much I hate its placing in the tracklist order and how Gypsy would've been such a better close for the album thematically and sonically.
