I think it's time the best new show of the fall TV season had its own topic.

Episode two was again brilliant. I'm glad that losing the director (Phillip Noyce) from the pilot didn't mean it was shot any less beautifully. It's still the best looking thing on network TV. Who's watching?

Enjoyable but I didn't think the second episode was as good. Not fully fond of the side stories yet, I'm not as interested in a scene if it doesn't have the lead girl in it. The direction is indeed quite beautiful though, and I'm really hooked when it comes to the main plot. I like the use of flashbacks at the minute, as long as they don't start over-using them.
I intend on watching the first 2 episodes tomorrow. I shall get back to you, but from the trailer and the comments Jark has made about it, I reckon I'll enjoy it muchly.
I feel like I am here just to disagree with everything Jark says! Beautifully shot? It's pretty generic and doesn't stand out as being particularly beautiful or well directed. Run-of-the-mill!

Its had some pretty bad (well at best 'luke warm') reviews. I really want to watch this as it has two of my favourite actors in it - Henry Czerny and Madeleine Stowe. Still - I suppose it won't be on UK terrestrial TV anyway (will it?)

I'm not aware if any UK channel has picked it up yet, or whether one might sometime soon-ish, but if you want to watch it Kath then I could send you links to watch online?

Not true in the slightest? It holds 65/100 on Metacritic and most well-respected TV critics and magazines such as Entertainment Weekly have been very positive. No idea where you get that from!

Madeleine Stowe is fabulous in it. A pitch perfect performance, icy and reserved, vulnerable but strong. She looks ridiculously fantastic for a woman of 53 too.

I've been keeping an eye on it (or the reviews) via IMDb. I can combine media reviews with comments from the actual public watching it. On its message board - its viewers are to say the least - divided. Still - nothing beats watching something for yourself and making your own mind up (besides - Henry Czerny is gorgeous!)

I adore Madeleine Stowe - she's a brilliant actress although she has been in one or two awful films. I do like her though - and she's married to one of my favourite (and sadly underused) American Comedy actors - Brian Benben (yes - its a good job one of their children isn't called Ben!)

It'd be great if you could! Many thanks!

Surprisingly not bad.. And slickly shot too... Madeleine Stowe is definitely the stand-out in this show for sure (and not only in terms of acting.. My GOD, she's looking damn good for her age... ). Can it sustain a full 22-episode run though....? Hmmmmm, not sure. I think if there was a case for keeping shows maybe to 13 episode seasons, it could be this one...

LOVE IT. Finally watched both the first episodes and it's great. Victoria is everything I want from my fabulous TV bitches, her icy stares from the rooftop are amazing. Plus, as expected, almost all the guys are HOT, not that that has any baring on the quality of the show, but when they're topless it certainly has a baring on my enjoyment *.*

I actually rather liked Emily too, after finding her piss weak in B&S, I guess the character is much better written in this and more believable.

I'm sorry to be stubborn but I'm going to have to WIN THIS ONE Norma. The show has an average 7.8/10 on IMDB which makes it their best reviewed new drama of the season. The message board is equally full of praise for it - I should know because I find myself checking it every day :D

Also on tonight's list of new shows to catch up with is this bad boy. I'm also with Jark on this one. It's fantastic. The lead is a brilliant actress and it's amazing to see Bambi in something else.

My god. Episode four was so many kinds of fantastic. It's really interesting now how things are escalating beyond just Emily's quest for revenge. There's the question of what Tyler's game is in splitting Daniel and Emily up and getting Daniel drinking again, and that Frank the fixer character is ridiculously shady.

Really not liking Tyler or what he's doing. Not too sure on the side stories such as Charlotte/Declan, but I do have a soft spot for Declan.

Still loving the use of flashbacks and the scene with the video was great.

I'm absolutely LOST FOR WORDS after watching last night's episode. Quite easily the best hour of television so far this fall. Just beyond explosive. Lydia was a supreme bitch but even so that was quite a shocking fate for her to suffer. Emily and Victoria always bring it but they were particularly delicious exchanging passive aggressive pleasantries at the luncheon and the gala.

Certainly the best episode so far, I am fully ON BOARD. The bitchiness between Emily/Victoria & Victoria/Lydia is wonderful. In one way I liked the way we saw her death and then how it jumped back two days, but in another way I'd have quite liked her death to be more of a surprise.

WOW. What an episode, so much going on. The Victoria/Lydia scene at the Gala was amazing. ''When we hug the warmth you feel is my HATRED BURNING THROUGH'' Victoria is such a fabulous bitch.

I despise Tyler though and want him to fall under a bus, or get hit by a car, or just die a really horrible death. He's far too smarmy and charmless to be a successful shit stirrer.
