THIS IS f***ING AMAZING! I have watched the first 5 episodes tonight!

(I'm partially through episode 5)

This was back last night after the mini break for the CMAs. Good episode! I love that Lydia is BACK and suddenly not a bitch anymore. It's amazing what amnesia will do for a girl. :D

I love that the characters you think are inconsequential are proving to be wildcards - Ashley really needs to get her bitch on properly soon. Loving the complications with Amanda too.

I wasn't sure about the episode overall but the final ten minutes or so were great with

the kiss that Ashley saw

and

'Amanda' telling Jack that she's the Amanda he knew all those years ago

, they both came as shocks to me and really help the story. So glad that it seems

Tyler

should be the next one to get

his comeuppance

judging by the next promo.

This weeks was brilliant, so many good moments I shant mention them all specifically. In particular I loved the Tyler/Nolan thing, I hope Tyler gets taken DOWN and FAST. Also Ashley calling her Victoria at the end was nice, she's going to be one to watch over the coming episodes I imagine.

YES it was delightful indeed.

 

I think I spent much of the episode squealing with delight - everything's just so perfectly calibrated to make thematic and emotional sense while still being really surprising. Emily VanCamp is really perfecting her bitch face too.

Lydia is my favourite underdog. She will be the last one standing when everybody else has destroyed each other. The woman's a cockroach with fabulous hair.

DAMN. Tyler possibly just became the most interesting character on the show,

revealing that he knows the truth & finding the video of Lydia on the laptop

. Shame he's so unlikeable. The promo for the next ep is so simple but wow, something big is about to go down and we have to wait almost a month.

What happens in the promo?

 

I thought that was a really good episode overall, lots of great moments. Not keen on the new title scren but that's a minor detail. I like the direction Fauxmanda's story appears to be taking and obviously the Tyler storyline is great, even if he is a grade a c**t. Or BECAUSE I guess.

The title screen was never great, not sure if I prefer this new one or not.

Seems like Tyler doesn't bother going back on his meds then! FABULOUS.

 

Victoria OWNS even the littlest scenes. What she said to the lawyer about the dramatic pauses had me cackling.

Victoria looked amazing in that episode, sometimes she's looked a bit Morticia Addams.

Great episode this week after the little Christmas break, a lot better than episode 10. I'm also glad that (it looks like) Tyler is out of the show now, I was starting to lose track of who was black mailing who for what and what everyone knew.

I was JUST beginning to like Tyler and how he'd gone all crazy.

 

A pretty good ep but

Tyler's brother turning up just in time seemed a bit too lucky/cliché for my liking.

 

 

Everything I've read online (mainly TVLine) about future episodes sounds brilliant though.

Hmm, I was expecting more I have to say. Twas alright, but not as good as I hoped/wanted.

That ending. The promo for next week. When is this show going to stop getting better?

the house burning down and the "NO, NO"

, couldn't help but grin all the way through that.

Oh well the big 'reveal' at the end was a bit rubbish given that much has been obvious since about episode 3. I didn't think it was quite as good as last week, or indeed previous episodes, but it was nice to see them taking down another 'target'. It can't be too long now until we catch up with the first episode.
