Oh well the big 'reveal' at the end was a bit rubbish given that much has been obvious since about episode 3. I didn't think it was quite as good as last week, or indeed previous episodes, but it was nice to see them taking down another 'target'. It can't be too long now until we catch up with the first episode.

I agree! I didn't even think it was a big reveal, and part of me feels the fathers a bit delusional anyway.

I think it's episode 15 when we 'catch up' with the first episode.

Not quite as good as last week but I think this 'target' was better than the ones for the start. I didn't find the reveal obvious just from watching, but TVLine did say that the issue would be addressed so that was what kinda gave it away to me personally.

I know there was a storm on, but why did EVERYONE have to SIT IN THE DARK. I mean, they're loaded, it's not like they're cutting back. It didn't even look dramatic, just stupid.

The episode was otherwise brilliant though, easily the best yet. The final scenes with Emily/Daniel certainly seem like they're BUILDING to something in the next episode(s).

Yeah, this episode was great. Ridiculous. But great. I mean kissing in the pouring rain and bitchy face offs whilst the powers out is ridiculous. I love how camp this show is.

Did anyone see the twist with the lawyer coming? That was a moment when I was genuinely a bit shocked.

I love Daniel despite some of his comments regarding Emily/Amanda's father so I hope he isn't the one on the beach.

As soon as that meeting with Conrad and his lawyer happening I knew Victoria's guy was actually working for Emily but the way they executed that flashback and continued it from the last episode (when it cut off before he got to explain himself) was really clever. That episode was indeed amazing. Even Charlotte brought it for once. I had loads of favourite moments but the proposal in the rain, Ashley conveniently overhearing Victoria and Conrad spilling secrets and then walking off with a 'bloody hell', the look on Emily's face when she realised that Victoria had cried wolf about being 'raped'... it was all just way too brilliant.

Also John dramatic shit going down in the dark is one of the ultimate rules of soap. You don't spunk scandalous drama on sunny daytime scenes.

AS IF I'm rising to that (rather uninspired) bait.

Well if you thought soaps were shit you wouldn't be watching this would you? LOL. It's pure soap opera, it could be any more typically soapy!

I think the last episode was the best one so far, so many little twists. I loved how Emily was almost starting to break with her guilty conscience, and the zap, in 2 seconds she was back in the revenge bandwagon.

I hope this isn't the end of Faux-Amanda, I love her! Wacky, volatile, impulsive, fun going, easily manipulated but smart when needed to be  I think she genuinely likes Jack and Emily, and I'd like to see her be happy. However something tells me she's gonna return and go all crazy on Emily

This episode was brilliant! Some nice twists and turns with the tape thing not playing out Emily's way and Charlotte rejecting her father. Glad Amanda didn't actually leave. I think I read that

---Tyler---

is in the credits for next week (which is THE BIG ONE by the way) so I'm guessing that person is responsible for discovering Emily's underfloor stash of secrets. IT'S ALL JUST SO JUICY.

I was worried that

Tyler would be killed off rather than Daniel

and that it would feel a bit anti-climatic but with all the other events and seeing the promo for the next episode I think it should all play out very well anyway and I do

really like Daniel so it's good in a way

.

It was actually my favourite episode yet. I've read a lot of people were disappointed with how it played out but I think it's for the best. Tyler was a psychotic villain, he had to die at some point. Killing Daniel now just to have Tyler die in a few episodes time would be rubbish. There's a lot of questions now with Takeda and Nolan (they obviously know each other somehow), Takeda whisking Amanda away in his car (one of them surely killed Tyler) etc.

Also an amazing performance from Victoria (as always!).

I've just spend like 5hrs catching up on this and I need episode 16 now, not in a weeks time! Is it wrong that I actually want Daniel and Emily to end up together? I am glad it was the psycho that got shot that SOB needed to die.

I love that the writers have embraced that Ashley is British with Loo and Bloody! That Bloody Hell was epic and I couldn't have put it better myself. Wouldn't surprise me if that particular moment was unscripted.

I died a little inside when I prepared myself for another amazing episode and then found out there was no episode this week.
Preach! Talk about a shit time to take a week off!!! Big reveal, find out the ubershit is dead then boom happy week off, enjoy 20/20 instead!
How does this show keep getting better? Now that we're in the realm of the unknown, everything feels even more fraught. I love how the shooting complicated Jack so much, his character was becoming a little blank. They're obviously being cagey about how Takeda 'took care' of Amanda for a reason - she'll never be gone for good that one! And I always love seeing Ashley's devious, power-hungry side. Delicious.

Oooh! :D Everybody needs this show in their lives. They're doing an entire episode (this season) set in 2003 at the party where Emily was a waitress (the one Lydia had the photo of).
