aye and I don't have the self restraint to save them for one episode a week either. BINGE.

DON'T SCARE ME

Best show ever. I hope it's not disappointing, but I don't think it will be.

 

Nearly time to re-watch the first 3 series, I think!

Never watched this and I never realised it had Jason Bateman ( :wub: ) in it! So I watched the pilot last night and it was alright, well good enough for me to continue watching.

S4 has been UNEVEN this far, some hilarious moments (ANUSTART, the smoking scene in E2 and the general STATE of Portia's FACE) but also some stuff that just totally missed the mark. I'm only as far as E6 so far though and apparently it continues to get better so here's hoping.

I managed to catch all of this for the first time last year (i think?) and it SO f***ING GOOD!!

 

I think it starts a bit suddenly so you're a bit wtf is going on but once it gets going, and you know all the characters, it is absolutely brilliant!! I think one of the reasons is the long-running jokes it has which obviously take time to pull off! Everyone is absolutely brilliant though and there's so many laugh out loud moments. It has all the perfect elements of what I look for in sitcoms aka basically quirkiness and absurdity :lol:

 

The Netflix season was of course understandably a little less good, they made the most of a bad situation though with the struggles to get all the cast together for a full season of filming. It's just unfortunate that the series works so well with the interactions between the family! I remember there still being a lot of highlights and it was good seeing how it all fitted together and made you understand earlier points of the season. (

the To Catch a Predator moment was particularly amazing!

).

 

I was SO glad to hear that a fifth season is finally progressing but I'm worried what will happen with these Jeffery Tambor allegations. :( (particularly when he plays two characters!!)

This Friday will see Season 4 Remix: Fateful Consequences being released! They’ve cut the 15 episodes into 22 episodes to follow the more traditional format rather than the ‘each episode focuses on a different character’ format. Really interesting, might check it out!

 

In even MORE exciting news, Season 5 is coming REAL SOON. ‘Like if you knew when, you’d probably be thinking why are we only hearing about this now?’

Released today and burying the original Season 4 in the trailers & more section!! What other TV show completely rejigs one of its seasons 5 years later :lol:

 

Debating whether to restart the whole series to watch the new Season 4 (also prep for Season 5) but there’s also too many other things I want to watch (currently making my way through It’s Always Sunny...) and so little time!!!!

I REALLY LOVE the remixed version of Season 4 :lol: It's more than just a rejig of scenes too, the entire season feels entirely different - Ron Howard even re-narrated some of it too and (i think) some extra/deleted scenes have been added. I've kinda just jumped straight into watching this new season 4 because I only just finished rewatching the whole thing a few weeks ago :lol:

 

I'm very much looking forward to the new season also. Honestly one of my all-time favourite shows and I've been waiting for this comeback for years :lol:

 

Have you seen the Star Wars version of this Ron Howard created to promote the Han Solo movie? It's really funny :rofl:
