November 15, 201113 yr Just seen this and it was pretty good but it did seem to drag on at times. I did like the kind of cliff hanger ending though if it was even supposed to be one. Her being pregnant? Or maybe I'm just over analysing that look he gave.. Felicity Jones is amazing though.

They were both completely different people at the end of everything and they both knew it. It wasn't the same.
November 26, 201113 yr I thought it was a good film. It did drag somewhat but I liked the fact it didn't feel scripted. Obviously everyone would prefer a happy ending but they definitely left it on a realistic note so no complaints there. They both grew up, had independent lives without each other and despite how much they tried it's just too hard sometimes to recapture what you once had. You try so hard to make something work and then when you finally get the opportunity... Heartbreaking really, but thats life. It reminds me of All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem. I loved the soundtrack too, The Tallest Man on Earth! Felicity Jones reminds me of my ex-girlfriend, they have the same cute rabbit teeth.

I think I probably just wanted to imagine it being a happy ending. I do agree with you about how realistic it was though, especially how like you say it didn't feel scripted and in any other film they would have just found a bizzare way to get past the fact that she wasnt allowed into America after breaching the rules so that they could be together forever. Good Dick is on my watchlist as of NOW
December 13, 201113 yr I liked this SO much more. Underrated gem. I wasn't sure what to think the first time I saw the cereal scene.
