February 11, 201213 yr A few listens each. What I WANT: DTG: Sonja, Timoteij AC: Mimi Oh, Ulrik 5th: Top Cats 6th: Andreas Lundstedt 7th: David Lindgren 8th: Thomas Di Leva What probably will happen: DTG: Ulrik, Timoteij AC: Sonja, Top Cats 5th: David Lindgren 6th: Thomas Di Leva 7th: Andreas Lundstedt 8th: Mimi Oh
February 11, 201213 yr If David could manage to squeeze into 4th I'd happily live with those results.
February 11, 201213 yr Author 'Bad. Borderline awful.' is a SIX OUT OF TEN? Are we to expect that numbers mean NOTHING in your ratings from now on then? Babes, a lot is riding on redeeming qualities. Like, if there is a 10-second violin part in a GODDAMN AWFUL song that I like I might give it a better score. Or a funny lyric, or the fact it's in swedish. Etc. Meh... bad. But I can see something in it - 6/10 What the f*** is this? It's even quite catchy for an awful song - 5/10 OMG AWFUL - 4/10 DISASTROUS - 3/10 KILL ME / no redeeming qualities whatsoever - 1/10 & 2/10
February 11, 201213 yr I reckon the results will go; DTG: Ulrik, David AC: Timoteij, Top Cats And, no, I haven't even heard the songs. Edited February 11, 201213 yr by ROBOT
February 11, 201213 yr Author DTG <- Ulrik, David AC <- Top Cats, Timoteij 5th: Di Leva 6th: Sonja 7th: Andreas 8th: Mimi Oh Pretty much certain this will happen after hearing the songs. Hopefully David can avoid getting higher than 5th though.
February 11, 201213 yr Sonja is going to AC at least. This is my SHIRLEY'S ANGELS moment of OH TWELVE, I can FEEL IT. Noose at the ready! I seriously think David Lindgren is being overrated. Nobody knows who he is and the song isn't really all that for a newcomer (let's face it, it's no KOM!), I just think it overperformed in the gen rep as it went down well in the hall but won't translate well onstage. I mean, let's not forget that SEAN FUCKING BANAN won it last week!

Surely by very definition a song which has NOTHING going for it is a 0?
February 11, 201213 yr I'm thinking: DTG: Ulrik, Timoteij AC: David, Top Cats 5th ANdreas 6th Sonja 7th Di Leva 8th Mimi Oh I think David might snatch the second DTG from Timoteij though, and they go to AC. Ulrik is concrete going DTG easily though. Meh... bad. But I can see something in it - 6/10 What the f*** is this? It's even quite catchy for an awful song - 5/10 OMG AWFUL - 4/10 DISASTROUS - 3/10 KILL ME / no redeeming qualities whatsoever - 1/10 & 2/10 This is pretty much me. I feel so bad with ratings, something that I 'really don't like' often gets a 5/10 from me when really it's average. Listenable is usually 7/10
February 11, 201213 yr Author How on EARTH does something having no redeeming qualities whatsoever get it a 1/2? Surely by very definition a song which has NOTHING going for it is a 0? I usually reserve 0/10 for Anna Abreu and a couple of others.
February 11, 201213 yr I'm sure Thomas Di Leva will have no trouble coming Top 4. It reminds me of The Moniker's Oh My God and Di Leva is a much bigger star.
February 11, 201213 yr I'm really not seeing all these DNQ predictions for Sonja. För att du finns was the BIGGEST Melodifestivalen radio hit of the entire decade in Sweden, and this is just as good as that if not BETTER, plus with YEARS of exposure and goodwill at her back. She'll be top five in the heat at the very least, I feel NEAR CERTAIN.
February 11, 201213 yr I'm sure Thomas Di Leva will have no trouble coming Top 4. It reminds me of The Moniker's Oh My God and Di Leva is a much bigger star. I think it'll be another Melody Club-style case. He could qualify through AC but I see him being a 'shock' exit...
February 11, 201213 yr I think it'll be another Melody Club-style case. He could qualify through AC but I see him being a 'shock' exit... Well, I really hope he DNQs today. The Final doesn't need another Moniker (and the Swedes bluntfully got rid of the original this year), especially with THAT hair.
February 11, 201213 yr I'll be AGOG if Sonja doesn't make AC, I think her going DTG is highly unlikely though.
February 11, 201213 yr Want: DTG: Timoteij & Sonja Alden AC: Mimi Oh & David Lindgren 5th: Andreas Lundstedt 6th: Ulrik Munther 7th: Thomas Di Leva 8th: Top Cats Predict: DTG: Timoteij & Ulrik Munther AC: Sonja Alden & Thomas Di Leva 5th: David Lindgren 6th: Top Cats 7th: Andreas Lundstedt 8th: Mimi Oh I think Timoteij, Ulrik and Sonja will definitely go further, but then the second AC place could go to any one of Thomas, David or Top Cats. Andreas and Mimi have no chance.
February 11, 201213 yr Author Meh. Decided to watch this. Norway will drag their shit for so long that I won't be able to watch Icelandic final.
