February 15, 201213 yr Author Love Generation. LG and RedOne are back with a song that is more The Saturdays than Lady GaGa. *already disappointed* Think Nicole Scherizinger's 'Poison' with a dance break a la in Serebro's 'Song Number One'. *now majorly disappointed* Edited February 15, 201213 yr by Ljósið
February 16, 201213 yr Author Also, these two are SURELY going to provide the hot mess collaboration of the year; http://file.qruiser.com/picture/full/49/2c/8e231a1e84f33612f83783dd4082.jpg OH YES. http://cs5391.vk.com/u743533/152685500/y_0c9f5360.jpg
February 16, 201213 yr Author http://cs5391.vk.com/u743533/147359493/x_d8665f6a.jpg Pretty close. I think we're in for a surprise result on Saturday. Too tight to call.

February 16, 201213 yr I just can't see Molly and Andreas easing DTG somehow. Youngblood definitely will, the second slot could go to anybody.
February 16, 201213 yr Despite all of the big names here, somehow the Ranelid and Li one is the one that I'm anticipating most - she's stunning and he looks ridiculous - can't wait! I do have a feeling that Andreas' luck must have run out now, I still can't figure out how We Can Work It Out not only got to the 2010 final, but finished 6th there  Still, an amazing song can change anybody's fortunes!
February 16, 201213 yr Personally, I can see Molly not even making it through to AC... Ahead of the songs I'd say it'd probably be Youngblood/Andreas DTG, and then maybe Love Generation/Ranelid & Li to AC?
February 16, 201213 yr Author http://svt.se/melodifestivalen/20120216120...ande_koreografi Oh dear. A less catchy carbon copy of 'Popular'.
February 16, 201213 yr Sounds like typical Kempe, they don't sound particularly strong vocally though...
February 16, 201213 yr http://svt.se/melodifestivalen/20120216120...ande_koreografi Oh dear. A less catchy carbon copy of 'Popular'. Popular? Surely Manboy?!
February 16, 201213 yr Right now, only Molly Sanden and Love Generation interest me - maybe because they are the artists I've heard of before :P Also I guess if Youngblood's song sounds like Popular it could be good, but we really don't need a carbon copy.

Not Popular, Manboy. Here's Aftonbladet's review: Youngblood totally plagiarises Manboy, as we know. He gives more info on the chorus "Youngblood, Youngblood I wanna be a youngblood, whooa! Whooa!" He doesn't think it's a winner, but it's getting the teen vote this week. Maria Ben-Hajii is described as well sung but by-the-numbers, with typical Pling Forsman-esque lyrics about the moon and the stars. If Sonja couldn'ty go top 5 last week, this has no chance. Matthias is not at all what was expected, a very lyric-heavy RnB song in the vein of an Usher ballad. He worries if Matthias will have room to breathe as there's so much text to sing. Like Andreas L last week, it may not work live but this is an impressive entry and an unexpected highlight. Love Generation's song is more guitar-based than Dance Alone (hence the Poison comparison I guess). He's underwhelmed, he doesn't start enjoying it until the end and thinks its chances all depend on the performance. (In other words they're FUCKED http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif) Caroline sounds like a light Kent song and is extremely unlikely to progress on Saturday as it passes people by. Andreas is back to Britpop with a song very much in the vein of Sing For Me. Apparently the Suede comparison was very widely noticed in the hall, with some journalists wondering if he might face a lawsuit for how much it rips off 'The Beautiful Ones'. Molly's is much more mature than her last entry, and he pinpoints an Adele comparison too. However, while he admires the song greatly and thinks it will have an afterlife, he feels it lacks a killer hook to elevate it to Empty Room levels. Bjorn's song has a bubblegum chorus surprisingly similar to Smiling In Love, which contrasts greatly with his bizarre spoken-word verses in which he ruminates on the nature of women with lines like "They are the first sex, if they rejected men for 60 years, mankind would die". Bizarre, but infectious. And here's Maria BenHajji: http://svt.se/melodifestivalen/20120216122...yser_upp_scenen
February 16, 201213 yr What I will say though is that Youngblood sounds like it might be my CATNIP in studio form (also the one second from the right in the perf is bizarrely attractive)
February 16, 201213 yr Ah, I only read Pavel's post before I posted that :P It does sound quite good though, in a 'it should be awful and copycat but it's not' way. We'll have to wait and see another 48 hours or so though :P
February 16, 201213 yr Author The black guy is by far the prettiest  BenHajji's mouth terrifies me to be honest. Edited February 16, 201213 yr by Ljósið
February 16, 201213 yr http://svt.se/melodifestivalen/20120216132...itt_riktiga_jag The verses are a bit of a mess really. The production sounds fantastic though, I can't wait for the studio version!
