Posted October 6, 201113 yr http://theelitist.net/nypd-receives-jp-mor...ccupywallstreet Recently the NYPD received “the largest donation in the history of the foundation” from JP Morgan as stated in a press release (mirror), a sum of $4.6 million. Today during the “Solidarity March” protesters were kettled by the NYPD, and they’ve been (and still are) arresting people one by one, seemingly at random (Including children/teenagers), looking at the live feed I can see no reason for the arrests, people are just standing there getting picked off one by one. Now the real reasons are unknown so I can not comment on whether these are lawful or not. I also can’t help but think that this is a strange coincidence; the arrests of (mostly) harmless protesters (protesting against the banks) and the biggest donation to the NYPD in their history (by one of those banks). The livestream (well it was live, their battery went dead as I’m writing this, currently previously recorded footage is played) currently has 20,000+ viewers and is still increasing rapidly, the people are watching. If the NYPD ignored the whole thing and acted rationally rather than randomly arresting and macing people this would’ve gotten nowhere near the attention it is now getting, so I guess we have to thank them for that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Innit marvellous... When J P Morgan gives millions of dollars to the NYPD, it's called a "donation", when Pablo Escobar does it, it's called a "bribe"... So, I guess $4.6 million is the price for "protection" from protestors.... http://www.jpmorganchase.com/corporate/Hom...ticle/ny-13.htm
October 9, 201113 yr I used to work for JPM a couple of years ago and they give a lot to charity in various ways but it is one of the issues of modern day life that you have to be political and tactile in even who you donate to... Very unfortunate and its so huge in the US. There are lobby groups as well who's whole job is to lobby down views/ opinions/ legal rulings and all of these are funded by the big organisations.

Well, I hope you're not offended for me saying this Phil, but as far as I'm concerned, the likes of J P Morgan and Goldman Sachs are the enemies in this Financial War, especially seeing as how the Prince of Darkness himself, Tony Blair is one of their minions (so, I have to call into question whether or not he was working for the banksters all along when he was supposedly looking out for the interests of the UK), and he was Libya lobbying Ghadafi and his son Saif, so he's just a big fat scumbag who needs to be shot and dragged through the streets... They only give to charities because it's tax deductable, let's face it....
