Do you just record everytime you hear a song? Its so irritating because Last.FM claims I listened to SLY 66 times last week, But I listened to it no more than 5 times...

So any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

I personally use my Itunes play counts as i reset them each week for brand new ones.

it helps me to decide my top 15 , and i have a rule that if i really like a song thats had say 10 plays over a song that has 11 plays then ill put it ahead, but i wouldnt if it had 12 plays. so i have a max of 1 play.

if ye get me :P

id just say do what you want! :)

You mean the personal charts we post weekly? If so, yeah, last.fm for the most part, other than that I just basically decide which songs to put there and etc. Most songs that were played a lot (looking at my last.fm weekly charts) charts high enough on my personal chart, some aren't as high (like Radio 1 playing a lot of Two Door Cinema Club and never charts in the Top 40 :P). :D

My chart is just based on which songs I love the most at the time I post it, I don't think I've ever listened to 30 songs out of choice in a week (I don't really listen to music that much) :P Because there are loads of songs I like equally the lower 2/3 of my chart is often sorted fairly (but not completely) randomly, I don't necessarily 'prefer' my #29 to my #30 for example, that's just the way I chose to order it at the time. The top 10 at least is always a very concrete order though.
