Posted October 16, 201113 yr A busy release schedule, wanted to see who you guys think is going to come out on top. 17th October: Kelly Clarkson vs The Wanted vs (Lana Del Rey?) 24th October: Labrinth vs Professor Green 31st October: Cher Lloyd vs Lucenzo vs (Kelly Rowland/Bruno Mars?) 7th November: JLS vs Pixie Lott vs (Jessie J?) 14th November: The Collective Vs One Direction 21st November: Olly Murs vs Emeli Sande 28th November: Rebecca Ferguson (James Morrison/Jessie J) I think Rhianna Kelly Clarkson Cher Lloyd JLS The Collective Olly Murs Rebecca Ferguson
October 16, 201113 yr 100% certain The Wanted will get it this week. Green has an XF performance so he'll get it next week unfortunately - hopefully Labrinth can be ahead on iTunes before XF  Cher Lloyd is a safe bet for the week after. I want Danza Kuduro to get there but it won't. JLS will definitely get a sixth #1 as per. The Collective vs. One Direction is an interesting one. This is the battle for my birthday #1 so I'm hoping One Direction graciously take the #2 and let charity rule. 'Teardrop' isn't awful. The X Factor Finalists 2011 single is out the following week, so that will definitely be #1 - Olly Murs might be #2 though. And I think it'll probably be a second week for TXFF2011 after that unfortunately but it might be a bit too early to predict for that week. Imagine, if GCH did get to #1 this week (or anyone other than Rihanna) we could well be extending the 1-week #1 streak by 7 or more :o Edited October 16, 201113 yr by Bré
October 16, 201113 yr 17th October: The Wanted (Maybe Rihanna could hold on?) 24th October: Professor Green 31st October: Cher Lloyd 7th November: Pixie Lott 14th November: One Direction 21st November: XF11 if they are releasing 28th November: XF11 or maybe Olly claiming it, I've not heard Rebecca's song yet so can't judge. I sort of wish charity songs weren't elgible to chart.
October 16, 201113 yr I've heard that the 2011 X Factor Charity Single will be their Cover of 'Wishing On A Star', the 1978 No.3 Hit, by Rose Royce. We will see. It is just a rumour, that I heard yesterday.
October 16, 201113 yr I've heard that the 2011 X Factor Charity Single will be their Cover of 'Wishing On A Star', the 1978 No.3 Hit, by Rose Royce. We will see. It is just a rumour, that I heard yesterday. That's not a rumour, it's been confirmed on the XF website. I'm pretty sure the release date is officially confirmed as well. If GCH were #1 today we could well have been in for at least 17 one-week #1s in a row :O 6/8 JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna 13/8 Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger 20/8 Nero - Promises 27/8 Wretch 32 feat. Josh Kumra - Don't Go 3/9 Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat 10/9 Example - Stay Awake 17/9 Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 24/9 One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful 1/10 Dappy - No Regrets 8/10 Sak Noel - Loca People 15/10 Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 22/10 Gym Class Heroes feat. Adam Levine - Stereo Hearts 29/10 The Wanted - Lightning 5/11 Professor Green feat. Emeli Sandé - Read All About It 12/11 Cher Lloyd feat. Mike Posner - With Ur Love 19/11 JLS - Take A Chance On Me 26/11 The Collective - Teardrop / One Direction - Got To Be You Not including TXFF2011 as I think that'll be #1 for 2 weeks due to the fairly dead release week the next week. October 16, 201113 yr 23-10-11 = The Wanted - Lightning 30-10-11 = Professor Green feat. Emeli Sandé - Read All About It 06-11-11 = Cher Lloyd feat. Mike Posner - With Ur Love 13-11-11 = JLS - Take A Chance On Me 20-11-11 = One Direction - Got To Be You 27-11-11 = Olly Murs - Dance With You Tonight Pure guesswork. I'm not sure about Rebecca Furguson but it'll come down to the song and if she blows everyone away with an X Factor performance. As much as I liked her last year, she was very inconsistant with her live show performances.
October 16, 201113 yr 23/10/11: The Wanted - Lightning (though I want another week of Rihanna or Kelly take it) 30/10/11: Professor Green ft Emeli Sande - Read All About It (would prefer Labrinth) 06/11/11: Cher Lloyd ft Mike Posner - With Ur Love (Bruno could have a chance but prefer Cher) 13/11/11: JLS - Take A Chance On Me (would prefer another week of Cher or Jessie take it) 20/11/11: The Collective - Teardrop (don't underestimate the power of charity - would however love The Sats to get it!) 27/11/11: The X Factor Finalists - Wishing On A Star (would prefer a climb to #1 for The Sats :D) 04/12/11: The X Factor Finalists - Wishing On A Star (Rebecca at #2 or #3/would prefer week 2 for The Sats) 11/12/11: Too Early To Tell - Possibly Stacey Solomon or another week for XFF? 18/12/11: X Factor Winner Is 18th or 25th Christmas #1 anyone? I've heard people say different answers!
October 16, 201113 yr Is 18th or 25th Christmas #1 anyone? I've heard people say different answers! As Christmas is on a Sunday, the chart that is announced on that day counts for it (so the week ending 31st December, with releases from 18th December (19th for physicals))
October 16, 201113 yr 17th October: The Wanted - Though I'd prefer Kelly, Rihanna or even Lana! 24th October: Pro Green 31st October: No Clue- If Cher gets her XF sopt, she might get #1. I'll get murdered for saying this but I prefer SJ  7th November: JLS - Though I want Pixie to get it! Actually it could be quite a chart battle if both were on XF! 14th November: One Direction - Though I prefer The Collective - 2nd Charity song I might buy (Saturdays JCGE was the 1st!) 21st November: X Factor Finalists... I can already imagine the chart run .. [1-2-9-20-40-OUT] 28th November: Hmmm, this is a hard one... I would like Rebecca to get it but I'm not sure... Jessie & James won't get it because it'll already have peaked by then!
