How can I see the popularity bars in iTunes 9 & 10?

Use this link: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...aultSeeAllSongs

Then select 'View' and tick 'popularity', alternatively, in the headings bar (Artist, Album, Time, etc), right click and select 'popularity'

I heard this M83 song the other day and I completely fail to understand why it's so popular. (I mean, it's not that popular at all, but it seems to have a massive amount of 'niche' support on this site).

Fake version of Earthquake in the top 200 :cheer:

'Natural Disaster' nearly top 40, really surprised at how poorly it's performed after 2 #1s by Example (even if the latter was only barely a #1). I really hope it can at least go top 40. And hopefully 'Midnight Run' will do better but I bet it'll also miss the top 40 :drama:

How can you not like that chorus?! OHAHAOO OO AH! AHOHAHA OO AH!

Pretty sure Read All About It will be #1 next week, especially with X Factor lined up! Am I right in thinking Pro Green is the first rapper to be on The X Factor?Hopefully Lab/Tinie on in the upcoming weeks too, loving earthquake!

I think Flo Rida was on X Factor before (for Bad Boys). And of course will.i.am/Black Eyed Peas were on X Factor all the time when Cheryl was there.

I can't think of any others really. Nicole Scherzinger kind of raps in a couple of her songs...

It's not awful but nothing about it particularly grabbed me (not even the chorus). I'll probably never hear it again so I'm just going to let it pass me by completely.

Pre-orders in the top 200:

7. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

14. Up All Night - One Direction

16. Earthquake (feat. Tinie Tempah) - EP - Labrinth :cheer:

43. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - EP - Professor Green

57. Up All Night - One Direction

98. Fallen Empires - Snow Patrol

103. With Ur Love (feat. Mike Posner) [Remixes] - Cher Lloyd

108. Christmas - Michael Bublé

110. Battleground (Deluxe Edition) - The Wanted

115. Danza Kuduro (Throw Your Hands Up) - EP - Lucenzo & Qwote

138. Birdy - Birdy

144. Stronger (Deluxe Edition) - Kelly Clarkson

168. Here and Now - Nickelback

169. To the Stars (Remixes) - EP - Modestep

170. Ceremonials (Deluxe Version) - Florence + The Machine

171. Ceremonials - Florence + The Machine

189. Stereo Typical - Rizzle Kicks

Labrinth so much higher than Pro Green now, I have a feeling Earthquake may start ahead of RAAI (but be overtaken after Green's XF performance)

Mylo Xyloto's pre-order has been around in the top 30 pretty much ever since it was first put up. I really hope it can get a first week tally similar to VLVODAAHF.

Top 100 update for today coming up soonish. :D

I hope Professor Green isn't too frontloaded next week.

So there hasnt been a rapper as the lead though, he's the first rapper to go on and perform his own song :o

So there hasnt been a rapper as the lead though, he's the first rapper to go on and perform his own song :o

I guess so. Unless you count Meet Me Halfway and The Time as rap-lead songs.

Considering the target audience of the X Factor, it's not surprising there's never been a rapper on there before imo. And I'm surprised it's actually happening! And Professor Green aswell. You'd think if they ever had a rapper perform on there, it would be one of the big International rappers like Jay-Z, performing an adult-friendly song like Empire State of Mind. Although as far as Professor Green singles go, Read All About It is by far the most Heart FM-friendly yet. The way it's going the average age of the X Factor viewers will have probably halved by the end of the series.

I wonder why they decided to go with Professor Green - it's not as if his discography is incredible; I mean:

03 Need You Tonight (featuring Ed Drewett) - Silver

05 Just Be Good to Green (featuring Lily Allen) - Silver

28 Monster (featuring Example)

22 Game Over (Tinchy Stryder et. al)

31 Jungle (featuring Maverick Sabre)

52 In the Air (True Tiger featuring Professor Green + Maverick Sabre)

02 Alive Till I'm Dead - Gold

^ No #1s, two T10 hits and a gold selling album - pretty poor in comparison to the other guests they've had on the show.

02 Alive Till I'm Dead - Gold

^ No #1s, two T10 hits and a gold selling album - pretty poor in comparison to the other guests they've had on the show.

I think it's more because of Emeli Sandé - she has an even less impressive chart history but Simon is a big fan and she's worked with quite a few Syco artists.

Their decision to give Green a slot but not Labrinth will quite possibly turn out to be their most retarded decision ever in a veritable SEA of retarded decisions if the performance directly causes Green to overtake Labrinth.

I think they wanted Emeli, and to get her, they must get him aswell, as her newest song is with him. Simon called her 'his favourite song writer of the moment' and she has written for Cher Lloyd, Leona ect.

Emeli has had 3 Top10 Hits' although two were where she featured on the track. 'Diamond Rings' and 'Never Be Your Woman'
It's fantastic to see James Vincent McMorrow looking like possibly getting a top 100 hit even if it's taken an advert to do it.

I don't think its quite as bad as giving BEP a slot along with Leona. If they had only had Leona, 'Happy' would have been another #1 for her!

Of course, Sande has been writing for the likes of Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis - but if it was her personally he's after, he'd have been better waiting until 'Daddy', her second single is released at the end of the year. I'm looking forward to it anywho - will finally get to see what the two respective artists are like live.

In terms of discography, I'd say Sande's was that little bit more impressive considering she's not had an album:

06 Diamonds Rings (Chipmunk featuring Emeli Sande)

08 Never Be Your Woman (Wiley featuring Emeli Sande)

02 Heaven

xx Read All About It (Professor Green featuring Emeli Sande)

I'm sure X Factor will make up some stats for Pro Green and Emeli Sande - like they said The Wanted had 3 number ones when clearly they only have 2 (Lighting won't be a third). They'll probably also talk about songs that Sande's written for Cher Lloyd etc. too

At least Leona actually got a slot though :P
