Princess Of China  #24

Up by Morrison and Jessie isnt doing well right now, when is the official release?

Ah, Pro Green, I love your song, but it doesn't beat Earthquake.

I think the reason Earthquake is universally loved (in my opinion, seriously everyone I know loves it) is because this has been a year of slow ballad after slow ballad with a little bit of predictable pop here and there. This song is so... so called for at the moment.

Needs to be number one for a couple of years.

Kelly Clarkson update..

Stronger  #96

This song is top 20 on US iTunes!?!?! :o :o :o

What's the big deal about this song? Maybe I'll have to listen to it.

It's true. This year has been generic female electropop songs, rap club-bangers and female piano ballads. Get's a bit boring (and to be honest, for me, it's got to the stage where I'm finding dance pop more boring than ballads now, just all those artists are running out of things to do tbh).

Wouldn't want Earthquake to be #1 for a couple of years though! That's a bit...much. I know I've said this like a hundred times already, but it's such a shame both the top 2 can't be #1. They're both fantastic songs. At least they're going to get brilliant sales.

Personally, I'd like to see an old-fashioned RnB song be a massive hit this year. Something like one of Beyonce's songs (e.g. Love on Top or Party), or She Ain't You by Chris Brown. Just something like that. It would be awesome if Rihanna's next single was that type of song. I can't see it happening though.

Ronan Parke is flopping hard, though i didn't really expect anything from him tbf

Has it been promoted at all? If I didn't read this forum, I wouldn't even know it had been released.

Ahem... :P

I prefer those!

Bloody hell Matt! He's falling faster than a prossie dropping her knickers!

Well given that singers virtually sell themseves to Cowell, that analogy seems apt. :)

Rihanna - Only Girl up to #76 :o

How come?

I answer my own question :D

It looks like it is now 59p (again)

Ahem... :P

It seems most of the general public agree with you tbh.

Nice to see Only Girl back in the top 100 FINALLY! I can't believe it did so badly after her album got deleted. I naturally thought it would climb back to a similar position it was at before after a few days, but instead it stalled at #250 for a few weeks. :drama:

I think Only Girl could overtake the sales of LTWYL after a while, since it's getting much more airplay at the moment, and I imagine that'll continue to be the trend for years and years.

It was because before it was deleted its price was decreased to 59p. After the album was re-added its price was again as high as 99p. I was quite disappointed as I thought it could sell 1 mio sooner.

So I take it OG will stay 59p until it sells a million...

If that is the case, she'll probably do it in a few weeks.

Not until 5th December

Oh good. :)

The top 3 are so far infront of everyone!

Only Girl will nearly be a million then.

I wonder who will be #1 next week.

Cher has The X Factor but Profemeli have sold so much this week already that another week at #1 is likely.

37 Drake ft Nicki Minaj/ Make Me Proud

55 Chris Brown/ She Ain't You

70 Jessie J/ Who You Are

90 Jay-Z/ 99 Problems

Come on Who You Are get a move on! Out 14th Novemeber, so guessing thats when she'll be on The X Factor, along with One Direction & Westlife? (both will have new singles out that week)
