Last night someone in my home town filmed their neighbour hitting their dog and locking it outside. The video was all over Facebook last night, a 50 strong mob surrounded their house and apparently the dad is in intensive care, the woman has been locked up and the little boy and dog have been taken away. The RSPCA asked people to stop ringing up about it as it was clogging their phone lines. The video is now on YouTube and the story has been in most national papers.

That just sickens me, what a heartless bast*rd... :mellow: The poor dog looks so sad at the end as well, aww :(

What sort of sick bast*rd does that. To a dog. To any animal. Ban that idiot from having dogs for life and the family. It's disgusting, vile and makes me f***ing furious that someone would do that to a harmless animal.

 

I can't say I blame the 50 strong mob surronding their house. If you see someone being violent towards an animal. You would do something about it wouldn't you?

Yeah there's nothing to say but it's still quite amazing that these morons don't just drop their unwanted pets off at the local rescue centre instead of abusing them to death or chucking them out to fend for themselves on a roadside. I truly do believe that people who abuse their pets are capable of pretty much anything. Definitely the worst kind of scum. You always hear about these cases but the coverage never seems to go on long so I've no idea if people like this are actually convicted or put in jail or anything like that but if I had my way I'd throw away the key and let them rot.

Hideous - all animal cruelty stories make me angry, but that video is particularly shocking, especially when the dog just wanted to get in the house :mellow:

Poor little dog, I love dogs so I hate the way the dog was treated in the video..... all it wanted to do was to enter into his/her owners house, only for the owner beating him outside... :cry:

Anyone who condones animal cruelty is a moron and the people concerned should be punished, that's true

 

But anyone who condones forming a lynch mob, surrounding someone's house, beating people up and probably terrorising the innocent kids is an even bigger moron IMO.... CALL THE POLICE AND LEAVE IT AT THAT.... -_- Two wrongs hardly make a right...

 

I hate to say it, but there are far worse crimes than animal cruelty going on that people dont seem to choose to get all high and mighty about... Just to play Devil's Advocate - I wish this sort of mob had the gumption to surround the City of London and drag out the banksters who are stealing billions of pounds, ruining our economy and doing real damage to the country and millions of peoples' pensions and livelihoods.... Or maybe forming a lynch mob to drag out Tony Blair and the other murdering war-mongers who caused the Iraq war perhaps....? It's not as if the victims of the Iraq war are likely to receive any kind of formal justice is it...? Tony B-liar wont even see a single day in court...

It really is disgusting, I could just about bare watching it, until the man grabbed hold of it's neck - then I just couldn't watch any more. It's just sickening.

I sincerely hope given the Government's "zero tolerance" approach to those who committed the recent riots, we can expect these 50 rioters and looters to be rounded up and given 10 year prison stretches each..... -_-

 

I'm sorry, but is kicking a DOG worse than burglary, rioting, assault, terrorizing a minor and aggravated trespass...? I dont think so....

How can you even make the comparison? The only comparable crime is GBH. I don't even understand why you're trying to compare animal cruelty with fraud or rioting or bankers on huge bonuses. Most odd.

 

I'm not going to watch the footage but does anybody know what happened to the dog?
