Was her reprise at the end any better? Maybe it was just a one-off...

I didn't see the reprise! I went into a Eurosulk after Jesper was cruelly rejected by the Danish public.

Voted for 'High On Love' so I'm pleased! :D

Also glad that 'Somewhere Beautiful' qualified as well :D

I don't like "Somewhere beautiful", really :( If it wasn't for her voice, I could even classify it as mediocre.

I wouldn't mind Somewhere Beautiful to represent Norway tbh, it's a really good feel-good-disney track :)

I'm going to listen to SF2 now (some of them for the first time  )

First listen!

7.5/10 Cocktail Slippers - Keep On Dancing Possible a grower, I'm not too fussed about it right now, but it's a good song.

4.0/10 Isabel Ødegård - I've Got You Boring....

10/10 Tommy Fredvang - Make It better YES, I got a crush on this guy, he is soooo good looking *drools*

9.5/10 Rikke Lie - Another Heartache Amazing, love this song!

6.0/10 Malin - Crush Just okay...

8.5/10 Plumbo - Ola Nordmann and there we have the Norwegian entry.... I like it, but I fear Europe will slaughter it  Did you 'Ola Nordmann' is a name for the typical Norwegian person? :P

8.5/10 Minnie-Oh - You and I The last minute is quite epic, such a high quality in this sf IMO

9.0/10 Rikke Normann Catchy song, like it alot

WOW at this sf, I won't be bored on Saturday (except song nr 2)

To end the rankings... here is a picture of Tommy Fredvang

I would. And not because I don't like the song, but it would be like 2010, 2004 and 2001 all over again. We need to continue being a bit different, the kind Norway is known to do from time to time, like we did with Wig Wam, Maria Haukaas, Alexander Rybak.. and well.. Stella, I guess. From what I've read in here, there seems to be some choices that would fit into this. Either way things changed a lot in 2008 for MGP, and now we still have the potential to do really good because of that.

Looks amazing! Can't wait!

This a bad Heat. Only 'Ola Nordmann' stands out.

Next one is the best one yet. Tooji, Marthe, Yaseen & Maria and, to a lesser extent, Lise

From Semi 1, only Nora went top ten on iTunes (#6 now three days after the semi!). The other two qualifiers are down in the 50s regions so it looks like Nora comfortably won this semi and has the most potential in the final regardless of Reidun being second in the odds. Tooji is my one to watch though if Plumbo don't run away with it. I think Stay could give Norway their best chance at Eurovision since Fairytale, surely a top ten?

Bearing in mind that iTunes is comparatively weak in Scandinavia! You'd be better off seeing how the tracks did on Spotify...

Weak perhaps but still fairly representative, especially for things like MGP and MF, it's always the songs that end up as the winners that rocket up to the top of iTunes for weeks before (and after) the final.

Does Spotify have a chart? I barely use it so wouldn't know...if so, how are they doing on there?

^ THIS :P

Plumbo are the certain qualifiers from this semi along with, at a guess, Tommy Fredvang and Rikke Lie. Cocktail Slippers could take the third slot though, even though I find it very unimpressive, I just have a feeling that Norway could take to it like they did Aste & Rikke last year for no apparent reason.

I wish Minnie-Oh could find her way out of the semi but she's more likely to come last, electro pop always dies in national finals :(

Cocktail slippers - 7/10 - Alright, I guess. Missed the first seconds of this though.

Isabel - 3/10 - Car crash. In every way.

Tommy - 8.5/10 - SO PRETTY. I want to do naughty things with him.

Just got in, so tuning in, I miss the first three songs every week :(

At least I didn't miss Minnie-Oh and Plumbo though :D

Rikke Lie - 8/10 - Like her voice! Face-wise she's like a scandinavian version of a girl I know. Uncanny resemblance.
Oh that's why Malin is doing well in the odds!
Malin - 6/10 - If I could describe her performance in one word, it'd be WOODEN. So half-arsed it HURTS.

Plumbo - 9/10 - Four tough-looking guys with 2 guitars, drums... and a flute. :kink:

The presenter is speaking TOO FAST. I can't even BEGIN to understand what she's saying. SLOW DOWN BITCH.

Rikke Lie's performance was very good, the song has grown on me a lot thanks to that! Interesting violinists in the background too

Plumbo are sailing through! Such an instant song.
