The Power Of Good-Bye was Madonna's fourth single released from her 1998 Ray Of Light album. In the UK it was released as a double A side with Little Star, everywhere else had Mer Girl as the B side. The song went to #1 in Mexico but ironically in Spain the song made #2 the rest of the ray of light singles ALL made #1 there (Frozen, Ray Of Light, Drowned World & Nothing Really Matters). The Ray Of Light album even returned to the top 10 due to the release of this & with Madonna's one month european tour promoting the song on shows such as Top Of The Pops & the 1998 Mtv European Music Awards. Madonna is yet to perform it on tour.

Beautiful song with a beautiful video. I really appreciate the song but am not desperate for it to be included on a tour!

This is such a great song, it really made me want to hear more of Madonna's music. I was kinda surprised that it didn't make the set list on the Drowned World Tour. I'm not sure if I would want her to perform it on a upcoming tour but it is a great song. The dallas low end mix is so haunting.

Not sure I'd call it one of my favourites off Ray of Light, but it's still beautiful. I really like every song on Ray of Light so not having it as one of my favourites doesn't put it down. Surprised she has never played it on tour! I tend to think of it as one of her biggest songs, no? Not saying she has to play every hit though I guess. It just surprised me when I read it.
Stunning. Stunning. Stunning. Just like everything else on Ray of Light. Its anthemic, atmospheric and arresting. Tomorrow, I'll have words beginning with B to describe it!
