The X Factor M&S advert isn't the charity single. It's a cover of 'When You Wish Upon a Star', recorded especially for this advert, with the contestants receiving a one-off payment for it. The charity single is a cover of the similarly titled 'Wishing on a Star', and will be released at the end of November.

Hoping that JLS somehow don't get #1 now - it'd certainly ruin their streak of having 2 consecutive #1s and then a #6-8 peaking third single (01-01-06-01-01-08-01-??). Saying that, 'Take a Chance On Me' is probably one of their better songs. I'd rate it highly alongside 'One Shot' and 'Eyes Wide Shut' - the rest are all a bit meh.

 

I'm routing for Rihanna / Calvin Harris now - a 01-01-01-03-02-01 chart run would look incredible!

 

As for Pixie Lott, 'What Do You Take Me For?' will still crack the T10 come Sunday - but I reckon a #7/8 peak is looking likely now - not that she should complain (it'll be the first T10 hit for Pusha T in the UK).

 

Florence definitely set to crack the T20 now - fingers crossed it'll break the T10 too!

Marry the Night still isn't in the top 1000 yet! :o I think it'll probably do similar to The One That Got Away (although maybe a bit worse, since that was actually in the top 1000 before Katy performed it...).

Xfactor really should have had a group week next week instead of the apparent Lady Gaga week. Would have been amazing to see The Collective, Saturdays & One Direction perform.

I don't think The Collective will do that well tbh, it seems so lackluster. One Direction's track is an obvious #1 (it is such a good track though so I don't mind).

 

It seems crazy how We Found Love was actually meant to be released next week, hopefully this teaches Def Jam not to hold back her singles.

I remember that happened with Deja Vu by Inna aswell. It was released from a Clubland album a week or two before its proper release.
