Just to see where people think it will chart and how much it will sell, I think it's extremely hard to tell IMO.

However I went for Top 10, and selling 21-40k. :)

I could just break 41k and I think. Also very low Top 10 debut unfortunately!

Does each of the slipcases count as one sale? If so, their sales should be pretty good, no?

Like, each of the girls are in the top 100 on the pre-orders in HMV - That's a good sign I'm sure!

I have two predictions;

Midweek flashes at #3, but eventually charts at a respectable #6 selling a lovely 48,000 copies.

Or

Midweek flashes at #10, believing the front-load wereoff will pull it down, we go into another 'meltdown' proclaiming "I hate being a Saturdays fan", but it eventually charts at a well-known #9 selling around 27,000 copies.

About 40k. Low end of top10 would be a good result for them. Anything more will be fantastic.
I think around 25-28k, low end of top 10 - possibly just outside the top 10.

Anything sub-30k would be an awful result. At the very least this album needs to have sold 100k by the time 2012 comes around. If it can open with over 30k then it shouldn't drop lower than 15k any week what with the Christmas sales explosion.

Keep in mind that Chasing Lights, Wordshaker and Headlines all sold around 20-23k in their first week/at their sales peak, and they where all coming off the back off more successful singles.

Chasing Lights had Up and Issues to carry that era through, whilst Wordshaker bombed despite the on-going success of Ego. Then they had the ITV2 series for (Missing You and) Headlines as well as the Radio #1 with Missing You.

On Your Radar is coming off the back of two underwhelming selling singles with a clear lack of radio support. Chances are the 'casual listener' isn't going to purchase it for one reason or another.

The Wanted's album debuted at #5 with 39k sold this week... that's off the back of a #1 and two top 3s.

I'm sticking with my prediction of #8 and 30k. As I said in the other thread I'd be agog if it missed the top 10, sales could go either way though.

21-40 k i went for and it will hopefully go top 10. The Saturdays as it stands just arent an albums act, dont get me wrong as i am not dissing them, but for me they have yet to make it big in a sense, the singles are doing well but the albums are struggling, its like the album dont sell naturally for them, all the album have been re released, re packaged etc but none have been huge sellers, i know their debut went platnum (just about) but i would love to see them do an album that sells 500,000+.

I dont know what they can do as they work their butts off and release some great singles, i just wish some of that work would turn in album sales for them.

The main problem is that we're in a declining albums market. The good bit of a news is that they're releasing it in a busy high sales period. The bad news is they could get washed up pretty quickly in the Christmas rush. So many pro's and con's.

For example this album could spend 10wks Top 40 and only sell around 150k. A few years ago you'd be looking at much higher figure.

Ya, i know its a lower sales climate which is a huge disadvantage, but 300,000 should come easy to an established girlband who have have top 10 hit after top 10 hit. I think they need to stand out as individuals more, im not a die hard fan and i have to admit apart from Una i dont know one from the other, im not alone either, i think that needs to be worked on aswell to connect more with the public.
