I can't see Will.i.am selling 70,000 within the next 4 days, I doubt it will even go to number one on iTunes.

Apparently, the gap is 30k? I don't think it's official though. If it is, that's huge. Considering they have been selling twice as much as Justin and the gap is 30k, I would easily say that they could actually be at 40k-55k and Justin at 10-15k. Maybe he even sold 20k which means the girl could be at 50k.

 

That is obviously if the 30k gap is real.

 

Plus, if they got the #1 against Justin, will.i.am/Justin Bieber and all. That's huuuuuuuuuuge. Like, it's almost like they are bigger than them, you know?

The Sats are definitely steady.

Since yesterday, JT HAS increased by 9.38%.

 

The most anyone else has increased is around 2%.

 

So if the Sats can maintain this they could potentially do 100K I think.

 

Say they had 10,000 pre-orders, that leaves 41k which is roughly 20k a day. And if they keep it up, gradually slowing down until Friday and then the increase they should get on Saturday, 100K is defo possible. Right?

The girls need to stay #1 on iTunes, it gives them great exposure.

I doubt they had 10,000 pre-orders.

 

Their sales are pretty impressive but we need to remember The Sats are always very frontloaded. The sales of 30 Days, Notorious, All Fired Up and Missing You (and i'm sure even If This Is Love and My Heart Takes Over) all halved in the second week. The 51K figure (if it's true) takes into account the physicals and all the pre-orders they had plus the remixes, but now the remixes are falling and the main version's lead is no longer 55% like it was yesterday. Sales will probably slow down alot today and tomorrow before their promo on Thursday and Friday. I'd like to think they could do 100K but these girls are always seriously frontloaded.

Don't get too carried away just yet, you do know 50k is for the first 2 days plus they came in frontloaded, they will have a big drop in sales tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if they only do 15k in sales, 100k is not guaranteed yet, they won't keep that momentum up all week.

 

You only have to look at previous #1's they have huge sales for the first 2 days, and drop off dramatically by Weds, so don't count your chickens too soon.

The EP is doing great, the single is #1 (0.40 lead is still good. They are still increasing, they are still selling more than they used to (the fact that is green means they are selling more than the last update). Yes, Justin is increasing too, but it just means he's selling more. At the end of the week, it will just mean that he will be closer to girls in terms of sales, but it doesn't take away how many copies the girls can sell.

"They came in frontloaded"? Sorry but the evidence says this is their first single since Higher which isn't totally front-loaded. So far it has not started to fall off. Most of their releases have peaked and begun falling by this point in the week.

Is the Bieber/Will.I.Am release confirmed?? I went on Bieber's twitter earlier and found an iTunes EP link with 'gb' in the link, assuming that would mean the UK's iTunes? It didn't come up with anything though, just a list of will.i.am's previous singles like usual when you search for an artist with the search function? Hmm.
