So everytime they are green on kworb, their sakes are increasing. So if they are light green 1 hour and then dark green the next hour does that mean, their sales are higher just for that hour or they are selling faster overall?

 

They are selling more than they did in the previous update. The dark and light colors indicate how much more or less.

There was barely any promotion for MHTO, aswell asairplay

I think they did all the usual morning shows and promo they do in those cases. Plus, they released the album the week after, so I doubt they didn't do at least their usual tour for TV shows.

The big problem was that radios completely snubbed them. Radio 1 barely played them, even when they were on the B/A list.

So the fact that they've more or less been green all week means that even though they are only selling 40% more than Justin now, they are still selling more than when they were 50% infront of him?

I made a thread on the DS forums about them being dropped in October 2009 (after Wordshaker fell 31 places in a week). Never EVER would I have imagined that four years later they'd be racing for #1 and beating Justin Timberlake.

 

HOW is this doing so well?! No X-Factor, no Britains Got Talent, no The Voice, average airplay, not much promotion, wide history of flops, little public interest for ages and suddenly they're on track for the biggest weekly sales of 2013? And their TV show is consistantly #1 in the ratings? What is happening?!?!

Well Rochelle got married to Marvin after 30 Days and it seems JLS are always supporting them, so are 1D they tweet about them from time to time so maybe a lot of their fan bases have joined Team Sats too :D

I can't wait to see how far in front they are after Alan Carr.

Kworb didn't finish updating, they haven't actually had any movement (neither has JT) since the last update. They're white.

It says 0.2 on mine above the last update, that was a recent update, no? It brought Pink's numbers up so I think it did update? Hopefully nothing unnerving if it hasn't fully finished.

It's times like these when What About Us (technically their first single from this era) is doing so well, you wonder what could have Higher and Ego done if they were the first singles?

I agree. If Ego or Higher had been released as first singles they probably would have sold more. They could have been number 1. Possibly. I think the problem is that their record label dont have enough faith in them. Release a crappy song to drum a little interest then release an amazing song the same time as the album to try and sell it. It simply doesnt work like that though. They need to be amazing from the start! Looks like this Era has started well.

Also, if they get the #1 this Sunday then they will have a single charting in every position of the top ten apart from #6. :P
