I know it's nearly three years old here now but I think maybe Higher should be the next US single, it seems to be the one getting the most attention from new US fans who have discovered the rest of their songs. They could release the Flo Rida mix if they needed too as well

They will be releasing an EP at the end of the month remember and I think Higher will be on it and will probs chart (if it has flo rida on it) because he could help them? I think All Fired Up would destroy the charts too!!! :D

Just to let you all know.

You can buy Chasing The Saturdays on Amazon UK for £9.52 (As an Import).

Just ordered mine :) Exciting Times.

#165 on US iTunes. :o 65 places off the top 100!! :o And this was like #480 yesterday!

This has got to be one of the quickest British climbs in a while. I mean, Olly and Cher were promoting for AGES before they even came anywhere near the top 100 (plus they had airplay). Right now Conor Maynard is below them and he's actually been sent to radio and has been promoting there for weeks. The Sats only started promoting six days ago.

Also up to #104 on Canadian iTunes!! :cheer:
Omg I'm dying at Canadian iTunes! Good god I hope it gets a suddenly top 100 affect! :D

#151 and #91 now.

I'm amazed it's still climbing. This needs to get sent to radio FAST before it starts to drop.

It's being 'impacted' on radios on the 17th, dont worry ;)

Is it? Thank f***. That's when they're doing their radio tour isn't it?

How do you know? :)

They're doing the radio tour :) It's what Jessie J did and everyone was worried like this about the airplay, it began to played soo much!

I'm amazed at how well they're doing. In Canada, is the chart sales based like UK? Or loads of added stuff like US? If it's sales, could it creep into the top 100 in the next week?

I think it's only based on sales but if I remember correctly, you only need to sell like 200 copies to be #1 in Canada. :o (or round about that figure)

Charts run from Wednesday to Wednesday so they'll probably chart a week tomorrow, unless they somehow sneak in tomorrow.

200 copies! they must be selling like 1 copy then!

Canada  to #77

USA  to #139

One last update from me for the night:

USA #137  (up 2)

Canada #73  (up 4)

Not bad considering just this morning the song was around the #400 mark on both Canada and US main iTunes charts. :)

Really hope they perform on The Today Show, could give them another boost (and then radio airplay/adds needs to get sorted).

No it follows the exact same format at the Billboard Hot 100; I think sales make up only 40% of a song's chart submission. Haha 200 copies sold would NOT get anyone to #1. I'd say somewhere along the lines of 25,000 could get you to #1 but thats just me guessing. Platinum = 80,000 and Gold = 40,000.

In terms of albums I know Britney's Femme Fatale sold 22,000 in it's first week to reach number 1 and that was in March 2011.

EDIT: Just found out will.i.am/Britney sold ~ 24,000 to reach #1 on the Canadian Digital Songs chart. :)
