It's Calvin Harris's fault though. He's put the most boring percussion pattern ever in the song. It's just made for a club to jump up and down with your hands in the air really. Similar with Take Care. Just a boring 1,2,3,4 beat.

Didn't expect Kelly Rowland to be doing so well already - #14 is pretty impressive considering how 'meh' the track is. Will be interesting to see where it debuts come Sunday though - I was expecting #26/27 - but it looks like T15 is a possibility.

 

Would be great to have Flo Rida vs. Rihanna come Sunday, I think. Olly Murs will hopefully debut at #3 and Rebecca Ferguson somewhere in the T10 (for her sake). As for Avicii, I think Flo Rida's messed up his chances of it becoming a hit - anywhere in the T40 will do fine.

suprised Rebecca isn't doing great right now but her song is quite boring as is the video, it's not really radio friendly right now. I was hoping for a more Leonaey debut (she really wasn't that boring!) but I think the album will do well as she deserves better success than bitchy Matt Cardle

No, they just count the actual iTunes top 10 as it is when they freeze it at 6pm. So it's basically certain it'll be Flo Rida given it's before Rihanna gets her XF boost.

Ok it'll be 3 then so he won't get his wish. People seem to be misinforming Olly that his song is 2 but it's only 2 on the pop chart that Flo Rida isn't in.

People call it "boring" just like they call Dido, Katie Melua, Norah Jones & co boring. It's just a kind of music, in my opinion. It's not something you will dance to on a Saturday night but that's still enjoyable music, not it's not everyone's cup of tea of course and I can understand that.

 

Shoulder to shoulder, Gold & Glitter, Fairytale and Nothing's real but love are brillant tracks, and the album is shaping up to be great.

 

And the "studio performance" video we got so far isn't supposed to be the official video. We should get the official one soon hopefully.

C'MON Kelly! Would LOVE 'Down For Whatever' to make the top 10, shame she isn't performing it on the X Factor.

 

Fingers crossed 'Marry The Night' will get a boost tonight after her Alan Carr performance.

Probably not but he has made alot of progress in the last hour. Xtra Factor exposure could help Olly, I think they're gonna plug the song on there and the song is on the M&S competition on X Factor. It's not as good as a live performance for Rihanna though obviously.
