OD still at the top?

Must have some healthy physicals or something - with the CIN promo they may actually get it if they get a last minute sales spike.

JLS top of the album - surprised given the number 2 with TACOM + the fact their last album stalled at 2

Last one still sold over 120k first week but stalled behind Take That, this one won't sell as much but the competition isn't as stiff. Bizarre that Snow Patrol have sold so many records yet will only have one #1 album, even weirder than Foo Fighters only having three.

Could you please tell me where SuBo is? Thanks!

5+1

Shoe off JLS

:heehee: #surrogatemikey

I said they must have been 4000 ahead tbh.

Also, due to how far they have been away on iTunes all week in comparison to JLS, they must be selling more physicals.

Official Charts say JLS less then 400 copies ahead of Snow Patrol. One Direction are 300 ahead of Rihanna.
I wonder if this can make it to Top10 this week.

I still dont understand how 1D are #1 on singles..

Hopefully. It's at #3 atm, the album at #1. It can only help the album to sell even more. Still wondering how on earth this album is doing well here. US Rappers are pretty local

Official charts

According to today’s sales reports, this week’s Official Charts are shaping up to be one of the closest chart battles of the year!

Snow Patrol, who were leading the race to Number 1 with their sixth studio album, ‘Fallen Empires’, in yesterday’s Official Chart Update, are now in second place behind the former X Factor contestants ’ third studio album, ‘Jukebox’. However theofficialcharts.com can reveal that less than 400 copies separate the Number 1 and Number 2 albums.

Over on the Official Singles Charts, One Direction’s new single, ‘Gotta Be You’, is still beating its closest rival, Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ Ft Calvin Harris, in terms of sales. But, much like the Official Albums Chart, the Anglo-Irish boy band are only just over 300 copies ahead of their rivals.

To find out who’ll win the race to the top of the Official Singles and Official Albums Charts, make sure you log on to www.theofficialcharts.com on Sunday (November 20) at 7pm.

In the meantime, check out an interview JLS did with Muzu.TV last Friday below:

There must've been some data missing or something. I'm really pleased. I mean, I was pleased with #15, so #4 is like wow! I agree though, it'll probably fall by the end of the week.

I'm surprised it's doing well, but at the same time it's the only album anyone my age has really been talking about recently

Fingers crossed it'll stay Top 5 and Take Care the song charts well

Tbh that report is proof, as if RiRi has only made back 100 copies in 2 days LOL!!!!!

There must be some undergoing tricks to take into account. Not only physicals but text sales as well, and probably more, considering Rihanna is digitally smashing up.

Hard to believe Westlife are charting at number 24 in the midweek!! They will end outside of the Top 30 till sunday for sure. . . This is unbelievable. the kings of the No.1s the consecutive Top5 and the only act to have till now 25 consecutive top 10 singles, flopping so badly. . . Anyway the single was a bad choice. BEAUTIFUL WORLD should be released instead. . . Poor Westlife, they could be more successful with better choices over the years. . .

I'm pretty sure Tuesday mids had missing data which is actually not unusual. In the times we received "frequently" sales data, Tuesday mids had always strange sales and strange positions. Also take account that the B side of 1D was charting in the top 40 too while it has disappeared since then. (Maybe the sales were added now together)

So I think 1D had a much bigger lead than 400 copies Tuesday.

I'm guessing Rihanna could be number 1 tomorrow, like last week, she took over the to spot only Friday. The big question for me is Flo Rida... :o

Do you ever talk about anything else?

Do you ever talk about anything else?

lol

why is 1D still #1

Because the world has gone mad? :)

I think and hope that Rihanna will take over tomorrow. Although I'm a little disappointed in her right now for not singing live at the 02. These things are important to me :(

Rihanna has never been a great singer. I seen her performance around Umbrella era and she was diabolical :puke2:
