That was fantastic! Can't wait for the second part. And I still feel sorry for Miss Haversham/Emma. I think Gillian Kearney and John Middleton have been excellent in these few episodes.
Don't often watch Emmerdale but the last two episodes I've seen have been the best I've seen in a soap for a long time.

That was like a mix of Final Destination and those graphic road safety reconstruction videos! Really impressive and thrilling.

I had ideas of who would die before but I'm stuck after last night's episodes.

Fantastic episodes last night, still NO idea who it could be who dies :o

I still think it will be Emma/James though, I think either Emma will kill James at the hospital, because he was alive at the end of the last episode, which means he could tell police what happened OR she will kill herself because she can't live with the guilt.

I don't think Ashley will die, I think theres more to his storyline to be seen and we'll maybe see his death around Christmas time, I found it really hard to watch his scenes, especially when they were in the church.

I'm glad that we find out tonight too and they're not going to drag it all out.

WOW. So intense. So soon after the super emotional Holly episodes too! Emmerdale is on fire at the minute.

Yup I'll be shocked if this isn't what happens tbh. Maybe she'll kill him first and then kill herself because she realizes she literally can't be without him..

Good acting again by Gillian Kearney and John Middleton - but I was a bit disappointed in the episode tonight. We all knew James was going to die as its been in the soap news for weeks that Bill Ward was leaving - but I was hoping for a twist and another character would go!

Feel sorry for Ashley though - he's going to be blamed for this (although the plus side is with his condition - he'll be oblivious to it).

Surely though - someone has to question why was he fully dressed, how did he get to that bridge (given how poorly Emma said he was) and the fact that his leg has fractures in it that are at least three days old!

Having said that - I want Gillian Kearney / Emma to stay around for a while.

It was the death most of us were expecting but I have to admit I did love the way they played it out so that it wasn't until the very last minute we knew for sure it was him.

His death has left a potentially really gripping storyline as Emma struggles with her guilt and Ashley inevitably gets the blame.

Yeah I was hoping it wouldn't just be James dying, although I guess ITV never actually commented on the rumours of Bill Ward's exit so you can tell it wasn't meant to be leaked, damn tabloids :drama:

They did well at fooling me until that very last scene though, part of me thought that Aaron and Rhona might be goners too (the other part of me was convinced though that they wouldn't get rid of Danny Miller quite like that!)

My love for Robron is at an all time high after this week.
Aaron almost dying after he said "yes" was WAY too soapy  but overall, some of the best episodes of Emmerdale that I've ever seen.

I have to admit that was a little cringe. It was like they were trying to recreate Eastenders Christmas '02 where Jamie died after proposing to Sonia, but it just didn't have the desired effect!

Got to bring Emmerdale back to the top. Am I the only one watching? John Middleton has been absolutely incredible.

I'm watching and it's bloody brilliant atm. John has been incredible over the past couple of episodes, and Charlotte Bellamy shone at the end of tonight's!

I can barely stand to watch the Ashley episodes - they're so upsetting. I do though - because this is one of soaps most important subject matters and everyone is playing it perfectly.

it is so boring at the moment.

this is coming from an emmerdale fan

bet they have something good planned for christmas though
