I hope so, I'm really loving this song - it's not much like anything else I've sent this year so I'm a little unsure as to how it will be received, but we'll wait and see... There's no magic formula and I don't ever try to specifically find songs that will smash - the minute you do try to second guess what people might vote for in this contest is the minute you start to fail after you realise that you've got it all horribly wrong! I just send what I like and hope for the best - it's interesting that I've managed so many top tens during 2011 (more than any other year previous I think :o) purely because compared to 2010 I've sent a far more diverse range of entries/genres. Personally I think that switching things up regularly works wonders, it doesn't feel like you're ALWAYS voting for the same country over and over if they keep changing their direction slightly and bringing something different to the table, giving you a valid reason to continually vote for them.
